  • Wonderful spacious home!

"It's a great house with two separate suites in it that allows for total privacy and lots of room for each couple. There are two amazing fireplaces and both were stocked with firewood and even duraflame logs in each fireplace. Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms with bathtubs too. You can walk down to the beach, just steps away from the house and the views are amazing. Great place and Tony was a fantastic host!"

  • Far exceeded everyone's expectations

"This house is...exquisite. The quality finishes, the tasteful layout and design, and the expansive views will surpass any expectations one could possibly have. Our time there was magic and the place felt fully lived in with a fully stocked kitchen and extra towels, etc. Can't thank Don and Ilene enough for sharing their warm home with us. Certainly home to return again soon!"

  • So charming, so cute, so hospitable, so wonderful

"8 of us spent 2 nights here celebrating collective 60th birthdays, and all of us ended up wanting to buy this home. It's that special. We had spent the previous 3 days in Santa Rosa doing wine tasting and came here for a different Sonoma County perspective, and got it. We rented the entire house. The upstairs, Casa Panama, is adorable. Great views, well furnished, great kitchen, etc. The deck off the kitchen area has great views. There are 2 bathrooms for the 3 bedrooms, which are all equally nice. The downstairs, Casitana, has one bedroom with great views, private bath, washer/dryer, and nice living room. Not sure I'd want to share this house with strangers as it's pretty close quarters. There are beautiful gardens, lots of outdoor seating, a gas grill, a huge deck and hot tub. Just fabulous. Oh, and the views.....simply magnificent. Although there are neighbors/houses close by, you don't see them, hear them, or come in contact with them. It's like this house was on an island. One day we went to the nearby (20 minute drive) Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve (well worth a visit), and the other day we went to the Fort Ross Winery, which was only 20 minutes north along that gorgeous Highway 1. Well worth a visit; very good wine. Anyway, I highly, highly recommend this property and know for a fact that I speak for the rest in my group when I say that. In fact, you could base your wine county stay here as the Sonoma wineries are about 30-45 minutes away (hire a driver!). And we saw NO mosquitos during our time there."

  • Excellent Ocean View, Quiet solitude

"This newer house sits up the hill from the coast where you have an excellent view of the ocean from both decks. It is a tri-level house with 2 bedrooms plus an extra bed off the master bedroom, and 2-1/2 baths. The kitchen has a toaster, stove, microwave, dishwasher and the usual pots and pans, and dishes, as well as a gas BBQ on the lower deck. A wood-burning stove is the only heat source, though there is an upstairs gas fireplace for taking the chill off the master bedroom on the third level. There is an ample wood pile out back. The house is remote. It is located at least 30 minutes from anywhere, so make sure you do all your shopping before you leave town. Once you are there, it is very inconvenient to pick up that one item you may have forgotten. But being in such a remote location is part of the charm, and Clark's Cove is a great place for quiet relaxation. The neighbors are few and they are very difficult to see. So enjoying the fantastic ocean view from either deck is a private affair. We rented the house for two nights. When we arrived, the propane tank was empty. We didn't realize the full extent of the situation until the following morning after we enjoyed our cold showers and couldn't light the stove. So we called Malcolm and Sherry at Jenner Vacation Rentals for help. They were both very professional and understanding. Malcolm contacted the owner and got permission for an emergency propane refill. We made alternate plans and headed back into town to check out the zip lines and then hang out in Guerneville (good times). By the time we returned that evening, the propane tank had been filled, the stove and gas fireplace tested and hot water was working again. Because of the lost day of relaxation at Clark's Cove, Malcolm went the extra mile and refunded us one night's stay. In spite of the problems, we enjoyed our stay at Clark's Cove and hope to return soon. When you are that far away from any services, it is good to know you have people like Malcolm and Sherry at Jenner Vacation Rentals to depend upon."
