"This was the perfect place for a family friendly vacation. The two separate living spaces provided the privacy we needed traveling with a one year old. We could wake up early with him (5:30 ish o.O) make coffee and let him prance about without disturbing the others. The hot tub, sauna and view of the ocean from the deck were amazing. We will definitely keep this place in mind for the future. It would be a nice, romantic place to stay during the colder months as well with a nice fire and a dip in the tub or sauna."

"The Haven was just that... A true Haven. We will definitely be back for another visit. From the amenities to the scenery, everything was perfect! We enjoyed the views, the hot tub, the town and people of Jenner, kayaking, hiking, and the cabin was amazing. It was a true adventure and amazing experience that we will not soon forget."

"My husband and I spent 7 nights here. We had a wonderful stay and all the amenities were provided as advertised. This house was very comfortable. Although it was very clean it has been noticeably well used though the years - stains on the floors, frayed carpets, etc. With our two 65-pound dogs in tow, we prefer a well-loved and well-taken care of vacation home anyways. My only two real issues were the bathroom (shower curtain was SCARY) and the broken and dangerous (nails exposed) patio furniture.
The driveway is around the corner from the house entrance. This means you have to lug all your belongings around a narrow, uneven, highly traveled street and straight up a hill. There is a good bump and dip as you enter the house too, making it difficult to roll ice-chests, etc into the house. The parking spot was tight for our Dodge Ram 1500. This house is not ideal for elderly or disabled people.
The two bedrooms were comfortable. The beds okay. The mattresses were hard. The linens were fresh and clean. The guest bedroom did not have a closet. The kitchen was spacious and had all the necessary stuff that we needed. The kitchen was plenty large for two people. All the appliances were in working order. The only major eye sore was the bathroom. The view from the front deck is spectacular as well as the views from the house. The neighborhood is quiet but noticeably louder during the weekend.
There was plenty of room inside the house for our two big dogs. The front deck facing the river is small. The backyard deck was spacious although it was still a bit small– there wasn’t enough room to run or play fetch. There is an area above the deck where the dogs did their business. My big dogs easily scaled the small hill to the open, landscaped area. My husband did not enjoy picking up the poops as the landscaped area is difficult to get to – it’s uneven and hilly and hard to see the poops. The house was completely fenced for my dogs. I would say this house accommodates dogs but it not really dog-friendly nor is it anything close to a dog paradise, but the beaches more than make up for that!
The hot tub worked great and all the jets worked fine. The hot tub does not face the river. It does have a pretty amazing view of a very cool rock mountain. The back deck is completely private and fenced. We spent many nights under the stars.
The river is about a 2-block walk down a hill, you have to cross hwy 1. Goats Rock Beach is about 10 mins and Wrights is about 15 mins"

"The 2 of us had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Ocean Bluff. Having the extra bedroom with a queen sized bed downstairs was nice so that when the other half snores (LOUD), I can go sleep in "my room". The kids' room with twin beds is super cute. We stayed in most of the time and watched DVDs. The kitchen was stocked with essential cookware and spices. Drive to Jenner takes about 30 minutes. We had dinner one night at River's End with great service and view (make a reservation around sunset). We also enjoyed horseback riding at Chanslor Ranch and loved zip lining at Sonoma Canopy Tour (book online). Both places were about a 50 min drive from the cabin but feels shorter because of the scenic drive. It was great to soak in the hot tub at night especially after horseback riding. Will definitely return!"
