"This property was adorable and the views were fantastic. We also stumbled upon what seemed like a secret beach less than ten minute's walk away. Our dog loved the area and the house itself. Super relaxing and a great way to get away from it all. Not to mention the hosts were so thoughtful - checking in with us twice before we arrived, and even mailing back a set of keys that we accidentally left at the property. Wonderful customer service and a gem of a house!"

"My husband and I spent 7 nights here. We had a wonderful stay and all the amenities were provided as advertised. This house was very comfortable. Although it was very clean it has been noticeably well used though the years - stains on the floors, frayed carpets, etc. With our two 65-pound dogs in tow, we prefer a well-loved and well-taken care of vacation home anyways. My only two real issues were the bathroom (shower curtain was SCARY) and the broken and dangerous (nails exposed) patio furniture.
The driveway is around the corner from the house entrance. This means you have to lug all your belongings around a narrow, uneven, highly traveled street and straight up a hill. There is a good bump and dip as you enter the house too, making it difficult to roll ice-chests, etc into the house. The parking spot was tight for our Dodge Ram 1500. This house is not ideal for elderly or disabled people.
The two bedrooms were comfortable. The beds okay. The mattresses were hard. The linens were fresh and clean. The guest bedroom did not have a closet. The kitchen was spacious and had all the necessary stuff that we needed. The kitchen was plenty large for two people. All the appliances were in working order. The only major eye sore was the bathroom. The view from the front deck is spectacular as well as the views from the house. The neighborhood is quiet but noticeably louder during the weekend.
There was plenty of room inside the house for our two big dogs. The front deck facing the river is small. The backyard deck was spacious although it was still a bit small– there wasn’t enough room to run or play fetch. There is an area above the deck where the dogs did their business. My big dogs easily scaled the small hill to the open, landscaped area. My husband did not enjoy picking up the poops as the landscaped area is difficult to get to – it’s uneven and hilly and hard to see the poops. The house was completely fenced for my dogs. I would say this house accommodates dogs but it not really dog-friendly nor is it anything close to a dog paradise, but the beaches more than make up for that!
The hot tub worked great and all the jets worked fine. The hot tub does not face the river. It does have a pretty amazing view of a very cool rock mountain. The back deck is completely private and fenced. We spent many nights under the stars.
The river is about a 2-block walk down a hill, you have to cross hwy 1. Goats Rock Beach is about 10 mins and Wrights is about 15 mins"

"Four couples, friends for over 40 years, spent four nights at this beautiful home. What an impression this house makes, with plenty of open house space, many decks, fire pits and unbelievable scenic views of the Russian River and the Pacific Ocean. The Jenner area has many activities outdoors, including boating, hiking and going to the beaches. There are enough good restaurants and vineyards in the area. It was very tempting to just stay at the house to enjoy the views, sunsets and hot tub. Sonoma and Napa are a little further away but we did venture to those areas a few times. We encountered no problems with the house and when we did call the owner, he responded immediately. I highly recommend this house and I hope someday to return. What a wonderful experience."

"This is a very comfortable and clean place to stay. The deck is small but nicely placed for a view of the ocean in the distance. The beds were okay. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to work in. Tony was very nice, called to make sure everything was okay. There were 6 adults in our group and we were very happy with the house. There are two separate units, one with a king bed, couch, kitchenette; one with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a full kitchen and living room. That made it very nice for separate sleep and awake times.
You can easily drive to Ocean Cove or Timber Cove. Jenner is a good 30 minutes away.
The private access to the beach wasn't something we could use, it is too steep for me to climb down or up."
