  • Cozy cabin for 2

"This little cabin suited the 2 of us & our old standard poodle perfectly. There is even an off-leash dog park 1 block away. The cabin is charming & the owner very gracious. We stayed 3 weeks & used it as a base for exploring the entire Bay Area."

  • Spacious apartment in beautiful surroundings

"We had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for one week. The apartment is located in a beautiful and calm area of Cannes and has a fantastic view of the lovely, very well maintained gardens of the residence and not least the sea. For us, the top attractions of the apartment were its location (area and view from the apartment), access to two lovely swimming pools and the spaciousness of the apartment, including three bathrooms. Lounge chairs are available at the swimming pools and availability was never a problem – we mostly used the small swimming pool and many times we had it to ourselves. The apartment has all the amenities mentioned – and its owner was very welcoming and provided us with good tips on many things from shopping to sightseeing. We warmly recommend this apartment."

  • Pet-friendly, gracious host, close proximity to exciting vacation destinations

"My husband, my 3 Boston terriers and I stayed 6 nights at this clean, well-maintained, studio equipped with everything necessary to make your stay enjoyable. The owner and his daughter were gracious hosts, and we grilled outdoors with them one of the nights of our stay. The owner shared a bottle of wine with us, offered us lemons and figs from the trees on the property, and provided eggs, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, milk, and bread during our stay. The studio was tastefully decorated and surprisingly cool, even during the heat wave that occurred at the beginning of our stay. The owner provided all of the information we needed to check out downtown Petaluma, nearby wineries (Saltonstall Estate and Azari were very accomodating)/breweries (Lagunitas in Petaluma and Russian River in Santa Rosa), Point Reyes (3 dog friendly beaches), and Helen Putnam Park for mountain biking and walking the dogs. I would highly recommend this property for anyone coming to the area and wanting to enjoy a safe and quiet neighborhood that is close to wine tasting/breweries, shopping, fine and casual dining, and outdoor activities including hiking/running, road/mountain biking, beach combing or surfing."

  • Great location

"The cottage is nicely redecorated and very clean. The rooms are small but manageable. There is only one bath in the house but in an emergency there is a toilet in another building in the laundry room. The deck is large with a lovely view and there is plenty of roaming space on the property. You do get a bit of traffic noise during the day but very quiet at night. It was nice to spend some time out in the country, and still have access minutes away to the two nearest towns and some fabulous food. Great location for seeing all of Sonoma. Mary is very helpful when needed. Having a laundry was a must for us."
