"It was a perfect house for a long weekend on the Russian River. The bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen and living room were a good size. Having 2 kayaks and a canoe was really fantastic. All-in-all, a very nice place to get away for a few days and relax. I highly recommend this house. It is kid friendly. Also good for a family get together. We brought our dog and she loved it as well."

"This House on the river was a beautifully tranquil spot. Far from neighbors so you could really enjoy the sounds of nature. Watching the otters along with the Osprey, great blue herons and other birds was fun. Enjoyed visiting around the fire pit and playing games at the large dining room table. Spent one day kayaking up the river and the next at Goat Rock. The beds were awesome and the space in the kitchen was great for friends or family to gather around the large island counter. And the decks... Every bedroom has its own little private area outside a set of French doors. Really beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay."

"The little town of Duncan Mills, (very short walk) is adorable. The bakery is incredible, the general store makes great deli sandwiches and is a throw back to a time forgotten. There are some fantastic little antique shops and art galleries that where fun to visit.
The house itself is bright and tranquil. Setting on the porch enjoying the warm sun and reading a good book was just what the doctor ordered. I got to see my 1st river otters, which were frolicking right off the doc. We had two dogs with us and they had their 1st canoe ride. because of the dogs we did not get to try out the kayaks. The house was well appointed and clean. It looks like one of the skylights might have leaked at one time which caused a little water damage. That is what could be responsible for the slight musty smell. It aired out quickly and was not an issue. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend a stay at River Gardens. Armstrong Woods was a get surprise with incredible redwood groves."
