  • Great taste of summer!

"Our little family had a wonderful vacation here. The house is wonderful, very clean and neat. All the things you need when away. The deck is amazing. We BBQ'd and enjoyed the evening on the deck. We have a little boy who just started crawling, and I had no problem with him wandering around the house. We hope to come again!"

  • Charming Cottage That Can Accomodate Large Group

"We had a group of 12 adults that stayed at Highland Manor. Everyone in the group complimented the large deck area and tranquility of the property. We were more than satisfied. On the Saturday, the downtown Guerneville area had a Firefighter BBQ Festival that we walked to. The walk down is easy - all downhill. But, the walk back up is steep uphill. It's only a 3/4 mile stretch to downtown, but just a piece of advice. Overall, we all had a great stay! Thank you!"

  • Charming Russian River Cottage -- What a Great Adventure

"What a charming, immaculate get away -- everything I dreamed of in a Russian River retreat. What a peaceful environment in the garden of the owners house at the far front of the property (I only got to meet them once, and they are wonderful people, but give you all the space you want). The cottage was recently renovated and was as quaint and clean and charming as the pics and description. And only 1/2 block from one of the main crossroads so you really can walk into town (2 blocks) for coffee and breakfast, dinner and whatever. A big plus over some rentals that are way up on the hills above Guernvile, but they take a local to navigate the one lane roads leading to them --this cottage avoided all that but was just 1/2 block into the hills to give you a taste of the Russian River valley life. I would stay here again and suggest it to anyone!"

  • Everyone had a great time!

"We just got back from Otter's Landing, and we had a wonderful time. There are three houses on the property, one with 2 bedrooms, one with one loft like bedroom, and then a little studio with a queen bed. The whole place is so cute, and everyone (my family with two little kids, my au pair, and my in laws) had some private space. When we wanted to meet, we all met in the two bedroom house. The house is right on the river, but there's also a huge grassy back yard for dogs and kids to play, and there are four kayaks with life vests to use! There is also direct river access from the house, with blackberries to pick on the way down the stairs. Our dogs were in heaven, jumping in the river to chase tennis balls for hours. Our kids were enthralled with the whole place, and the adults finally got a weekend to relax and unwind. The house is just a few minutes from downtown Guerneville, where there's a big grocery store and a bunch of restaurants, not to mention Johnson's Beach. We drove back into the city tired and happy. Great weekend!"
