  • Clean, Peaceful, Comfortable

"Kevin was very accommodating and helped us arrange a last minute stay at his lovely riverside home. The house itself is spacious and very clean, beds were comfortable and it was convenient to have more than one bathroom. Our favorite activities were cooking, lounging in the sun room and slipping into the jacuzzi. The weather was grey and misty, and Guerneville was a little grungy this time of year---all the better for getting groceries, staying in and losing track of time. Would love to come back here in the summer when the river is in full swing. Quick and easy drive from San Fran, great weekend retreat!"

  • Beautiful Home, wonderful guests

"Absolutely loved staying here, Richard and Bryan were wonderful hosts! Their home is absolutely beautiful. My husband and a couple of close friends spent the weekend barrel tasting. I almost wept when we had to leave because I enjoyed our stay so much. The house is a short drive from all the wineries and town. Bryan is an incredibly responsive host. I never had to wait more than a few minutes to hear from him. The hot tub is so nice after a day of tasting. The yard is gorgeous. I can't say enough good things . We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some amazing bread! There were bagels and bottles of water , cream cheese , bananas, coffee, a pitcher of orange juice. Everything was amazing and our hosts went above and beyond in preparing the house. Oh and the linens were so soft. I need some just like them! I am trying to convince my husband to go back in September that is how nice our stay was! I would recommend Bryan and Richards home to anyone!"

  • Always Excellent - Never Disappoints!

"This is the 4th time my boyfriend & I have stayed at the Memory Lane house. I LOVE this place! And dealing with Jon is just so darn easy! I love the location of this place - all tucked away in the trees. This is the first time we really didn't do too much of anything - just relaxed at the house. The weather was gorgeous & I spent a lot of time just sitting on deck reading or listening to my ipod. Hearing the music from the Rio Nido Roadhouse is always awesome - make a fire, have a beer & just chill outside. The kitchen is also one of my faves b/c it has everything you could possibly need. We bbq'd a ton, went in the hot tub & played a lot of ping pong! I can't say it enough, this place is WONDERFUL & I hope to come back again."

  • Up in the Trees!

"My Wife, our dog and myself made our way up to Guerneville over the weekend and stayed in The Treehouse. We really needed a time away from our jobs and our lives. The Treehouse was perfect! Very minimalist in nature and so snug and inviting, we loved sitting on the deck for our morning breakfast and snuggling together in the cozy sleeping nook. There were only two small problems, otherwise the stay was perfect. First, not much natural sunlight gets through to the house. I know this isn't something correctable as the house sits way up the hill in the middle of big trees. It wasn't necessarily a problem for us but for anyone reading this review I thought the information may be pertinent. Also it would have been nice to have a microwave. Since it isn't our home we aren't privy to a full fridge and pantry of groceries, so we ate out for most meals except breakfast. Now we came hoping to try great food anyways, but the food we couldn't finish we brought back to the house. It was difficult to heat up our leftovers as we had to use the oven. A microwave would just make it a little quicker and easier. Overall our stay was great and we loved every minute of it!"
