"Abalone Cove was perfect for our stay (6 adults - 1 two-year old and 1 baby). Grandma and Grandpa took the quiet cottage, and the rest of the family stayed in the big house. The yard is perfect for kids and dogs. We are Land Paths members and enjoyed a day hike at Willow Creek State Park. With this year's drought conditions, the river was "wade-able" and the two year old enjoyed going to the island and the near-by beach. Great having Internet! A fine, relaxing weekend."

"What a great cottage! It's cozy and charming. The kitchen has pretty much any gadget you might need. The deck is great with an outdoor hot tub and bbq. Truly a relaxing little get-a-way that is comfortable, easy and well-appointed. Thank you Lydia for sharing your lovely little Redwood forest cottage! I would love to come back in the fall or winter when the creek is full and rushing by."

"My girlfriend and I stayed at the Petite Syrah. The property is beautiful and perfect if you want to kick back and sample all of the local wines and foods. If you are looking for activities, the location is also perfect in that sense, and there is no shortage of activities. One day we drove to Sonoma and did a Wine Trolley tour that takes you to four wineries and provides lunch. We rented bikes from Wine Country Bikes and did the ride from downtown Healdsberg to the end of West Dry Creek Road. It was about 25 miles of pretty easy riding with rolling hills and plenty of vineyards to stop and do a wine tasting. You are also very close to nature activities. In about 30 minutes you can be at the pacific coast or in a Redwood forest.
If you plan on cooking, Big John's market is a great grocery store. Driving North on 101, you actually have to go past the exit that you would take to get to the Zin/Petite Syrah, but the drive from Big John's back to the property can't be beat. It is lined with wineries, gorgeous mountain views, and magnificent sunsets.
All in all, it was a great vacation, the property was incredible, and Cherie was a fantastic host. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wine country getaway."

"We had Excellent time at Sunset Manor. The place is amazing for what you pay. It's close to Downtown (we walked to downtown many times), it's well furnished and well maintained. There are video games, computers, TVs in every room and small workout room. I would rent it again in future without any doubt."
