"I had my wedding here and it was the most amazing experience! My husband and I knew we wanted a backyard intimate wedding in the country and this was beyond perfect. The venue is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen and all my guests are still raving about its rustic elegance! We had about 50 guests, with about 6-8 staying on-site. The owner is a pleasure to work with and we're so honored she allowed us to host our event on site! We hope to come back every year!"Guest: Laura Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: September 13, 2014View listing
"We stayed here the weekend before a friend's wedding. The space was beautiful and accommodated the 8 of us easily and comfortably. The lake house was private, quiet and generally awesome. Great experience from beginning to end!"Guest: NN Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 19, 2014View listing
"The property is on the second floor of the working wine production/tasting room/barn. Views are amazing as you are on top of your own private mountain; unit has rustic exterior but interior is very comfortable with AC, fans, nice kitchen and bath. Pool is warm and clean, just petite. Owners are very friendly and will give you company or privacy as you desire. Owners are improving the viewing areas and tasting room thru the year; slight negative could be the long dirt road up the private driveway, but again this insures privacy and adds to the rustic vineyard experience. Would gladly return !!!!"Guest: Nick Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 7, 2014View listing
"FROM THE MOMENT WE CONTACTED JAN, ABOUT THEIR COTTAGE SHE WAS BEYOND WONDERFUL. JAN WAS VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND ACCOMMODATING. WE ASKED IF THERE WERE SPECIAL BBQ UTENSILS WE NEEDED, SHE CHECKED, SAW THEY DID NOT HAVE THEM AND ASKED US WHAT WE NEEDED AND SHE MADE IT HAPPEN. ALL ARRANGEMENTS WERE A SNAP WITH HER , QUICK AND EFFICIENT. THE HOUSE WAS JUST AS PICTURED A BEAUTIFUL , LUXURIOUS, SPECIAL PLACE FOR TWO COUPLES WANTING TO ENJOY SOME QUALITY TIME IN A PEACEFUL SETTING. STANLEY COTTAGE IS CLOSE TO ALL THE WINERIES IN HEALDSBURG AND EASY FREEWAY ACCESS. JAN AND BRENT CAME BY TO WELCOME US AND MAKE SURE WE HAVE EVERYTHING WE NEEDED AND THEN LEFT US ALONE TO ENJOY OURSELVES, BUT WERE AVAILABLE HAD ANYTHING COME UP. SEPT IS HARVEST TIME, AND WAS EXTRA SPECIAL. THE VIEW OF PLUMP GRAPES, IN OUR OWN VINEYARD,TO ENJOY WHILE SITTING OUT ON THE DECK, SIPPING THE WINE THEY SO KINDLY LEFT FOR US, WAS A SPECIAL TREAT. WE HAD LITTLE FEATHERED FRIENDS COME BY, PRETTY LITTLE HUMMINGBIRDS, A BLUE JAY AND 2 NOT SO FRIENDLY WOOD PECKERS WHO ENTERTAINED US BY CHASING THE BLUE JAY OUT OF THEIR TERRITORY. GIVING THE COTTAGE 5 STARS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT, IT FAR EXCEEDS THAT RATING ALONG WITH IT'S OWNERS. JAN AND BRENT MADE US FEEL VERY WELCOME AND SPECIAL, TWO KIND SOULS SHARING THEIR BIT OF PARADISE. JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, WE WISH WE COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER.... CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN !"Guest: bwneyegrl Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 7, 2014View listing
