  • Pictures don't do this place justice!

"We recently stayed at Twin Pillar and we were nothing but impressed the entire time. The view could not have been more beautiful and the property was perfect for the 4th of July holiday. There were four couples with children but with the way the house and grounds are layed out it seemed like more than enough space for all of us. The only con that I can think of is that there are only one or two lounge chairs by the pool, but it was so hot that weekend that we spent most of our time playing in the pool. The outdoor kitchen is beautifully done, complete with a pizza oven, and the bocce ball court made me wish I knew the rules. Also, the property managers were extremely personable and helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay!"

  • You can 'hang your hat' here!

"Our daughter was wed recently in Healdsburg, Ca at the VML winery. Our four other daughters, two grand kids, and son-in-law, came from RI, GA, WA, & OR to share in their sister's joy. We traveled from WA as well. This home would be our "common ground", our home away from home for a few short days. It would become the place where we would catch up, rekindle the family fire, make new memories, and just relax together for our all too short visit to the wine country. It was perfect for us, simple, "down-home country" furnishings, board games to play, thoughtfully placed information on the local wildlife by the owner (who obviously lived their life full of simple pleasures here) country roads to stroll, and plenty of room for everyone to stretch their legs. We did not have time to enjoy the Bocci court, just reflecting together in the hot tub overlooking the peaceful lake, and viewing the neighborhood deer were fulfilling enough. We feel blessed to have found this place, and the owner a pleasure to do business with. We had never rented from VRBO before, and could not believe how effortless the process was. If you want "brand new and modern" don't rent this place. But if you want simplicity, tranquility, a place to relax and to just "be", look them up, you won't be disappointed."

  • Amazing House!!

"I have rented a lot of places on VRBO and this one was absolutely fabulous! My first comment, which is the one thing that I must have when renting a place, is that it was VERY CLEAN!!! We rented this for a 40th B-day weekend with 6 girls and it was great to have such large rooms, the house was nicely laid out, and it had great supplies, spices, etc. in the kitchen! The hot tub was nice to have and we loved the open concept in the kitchen were there was so much room for all of us to be in. Like one review said, there isn't great cell reception in the house....but we didn't care, it was girls weekend and we wanted to disconnect from busy lives, work, etc. However, you walk out the door and sit on the steps, you'll get reception, not a big deal at all. It was in a very very nice neighborhood and in the middle of all of the places we wanted to go, Napa, Sonoma, Healdsburg....just perfect! We will definitely be back to this house, what a great find!!! Thanks, Anthony!!!"

  • Charming and comfortable!

"We loved our two day stay at the farmhouse! It is the perfect set up for two couples traveling together, with plenty of room for gathering and entertaining and yet privacy with a bedroom and bath upstairs and another bed and bath on the main floor. The location is great for exploring all the wineries and just minutes away from downtown Healdsburg. The farmhouse is very clean and bright and furnished with everything you could possibly need, from a well stocked kitchen to hair dryers in both bathrooms. The decor and furnishings are comfortable with a charming mix of antiques and newer pieces. The temperature was in the low 90's during our visit yet we were never bothered by the heat in the daytime or even at night as the ceiling fans worked quite well and open windows provided a nice breeze in the evening. Margaret is very charming and gave us several great recommendation for wineries to explore.(We dropped her name a few times and tasting fees were waived!) Be sure and ask her about Margaret's Zinfandel made from grapes from her own vineyard! We started our morning with coffee in the back patio and enjoyed watching the sunset from the front porch with a glass of wine. We love Healdsburg and the farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay and headquarter while enjoying all the area has to offer. We'll be back!"
