"Great location with a great view, nice and clean. I love this place. Close to all the wineries in Dry Creek for tastings. I will stay here again when I get the time off. I had a great time, thanks John & Janice."

  • Perfect beautiful, quiet wine country getaway

"I celebrated my 40th birthday here, so was picky on choosing where I wanted to stay. When I booked the house for 14 of us, I liked the photos, but was blown away by the house itself when I arrived. It was the perfect place for a small gathering of friends for great food and lounging around. The best part is the outdoor space, which is huge, and the dining room and living room have big french doors that open out onto the deck, so the house had great flow. Loved the big oak trees outside in back. And the views are quite nice. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and had plenty of sheets and beddings. I like that they have plenty of toiletry and towels available too. There are four upstairs bedroom (with one having see-through french doors and is a bit small) as well as a pull out sofa in the upstairs hallway. The lower bedroom, though not as private, was beautiful with doors opening out onto the patio outdoors. We didn't hang out in the living much but it was good size. Kitchen was large enough for all to hang out in and opens into a family room space. I like that it is faraway from town and a treck to get to (2-3 hr from San Francisco, depending on traffic), but it was well worth it. Very quiet, clean, totally fabulous place for a large group. A swimming pool would make it absolutely perfect, but we all loved the place as it is. I definitely would come back there and stay for longer than a weekend. One thing I would suggest is that the rental manager be more quick to respond and give us info on the house at least a week before arrival; we didn't get the info until 2 days before getting there (and after several phone calls), making it hard to plan for driving, etc."

  • A Perfect Honeymoon

"My parents booked this place for my husband's and my honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage was beautiful and cozy, the gardens were stunning, and George and Gar are two of the best hosts you could ever hope to find. On our first day we had already decided we wanted to come back for our one year anniversary, by the last day we didn't know if we would be able to wait that long. The whole trip was peaceful and romantic. I highly, highly recommend this place."

  • wine weekend

"We rented the house with a group of 12 people for a wine weekend in Sonoma. The house is really nice and the fact that it has 6 separate rooms (no sleeping in the family room) is a big advantage. The availability of the kayaks and canoe are also very nice. We might come back in the future."
