  • WINE TASTERS PARADISE

"We planned a long weekend for wine-tasting - which started out with time in the Pasterick wine cave with Gerry and Diane. After that wonderful and educational experience, our other wine tasting was a letdown. These are lovely people who make lovely wine and provide a lovely accommodation. We truly hope to have the opportunity to return."

  • Perfect Vacation Home with Beautiful Surroundings

"We rented this home for a group of nine former college roommates gathering for a long wine country weekend. Being unfamiliar with the area, we could not have lucked out more on location and views. The house is exactly as depicted in the pictures and had many spots for all of us to relax together, or to have a quiet moment. The property is beautiful with plenty of outdoor space to relax and enjoy. There is a wonderful market for breakfast, snacks, drinks, etc a few minutes away on foot. Downtown Healdsburg is a short drive away with the wonderful offerings it has, and the house is a perfect started spot for wine tasting in the area. The owners/leasing agent was also extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely return to this exact property again."

  • Now we know the reason for all the 5-star reviews!

"When we booked the Pension, we were hoping that the property would be as nice as the pictures depicted and as good as the reviews sounded… and to our delight it was! We stayed here for two nights and loved the serenity and beauty surrounding the Pension. The room is lovely and comes equipped with everything we could have required. The bed was very comfy and the high-quality linens felt luxurious. When we arrived there, we were met with a warm, friendly welcome by owner Jim, and then we never saw him or his wife after that, though we knew they were available if we needed anything. The location is perfect; just a short five-minute drive into downtown Healdsburg, easy driving distances to loads of wineries, and only 30 minutes to Armstrong Redwoods State Park (highly recommended). We are already looking forward to staying here again, and we will wholeheartedly recommend staying here to our friends and family. Thank you Jim and Ann for opening up your beautiful, peaceful Pension for others to enjoy!"

  • Exquisite home for a private family reunion and wedding vows

"I booked this home for my immediate family and a few of our friends to share in private wedding vows overlooking the Andersen Valley area. It could not have been more picturesque / ideal of a location. The home was lovely and the decks / balconies and patio even better. Everyone was impressed and enjoyed the stay. Per location, it's a bit further than we had initially planned for, but nice and tucked away for a very private experience. It is recommended that you drive up in the daytime, since it is a gorgeous drive with view of vineyards and rolling hills-- and will be easier to find. Overall, I was thrilled with the experience but a few recommendations: To guest: the rooms are great but vary greatly in comfort / convenience and size. There is a very small room upstairs without a bathroom or balcony and a less private, but larger room on the first floor. For this reason, be sure to manage guests expectations appropriately and plan ahead so there are no surprises for this coming with you. If possible, If you have a larger group, try to book longer than a weekend so you can take full advantage of what the house is best for-- relaxing and enjoying the view outside. We spent a lot of time settling in and then packing up and I wish I had ore time to do this. To host: there was plenty of dishes and cups, but we also went through a lot of silverware and there was only actual silver silverware which we weren't able to put in the dishwasher so this was not ideal for large dinners... Per directions, provide the address a little earlier so it's clear how far the location is to travel to. We were confused if the home was in Asti or Healdsburg, when in fact, it's in Cloverdale which was further than we planned with family guests who were arriving and we only got the address a day prior to arrival which delayed us all a bit... But again overall, dream stay that I'd love to come back to for longer!"
