  • A restful retreat

"We had a wonderful time with Charlotte and Stan at their vineyard getaway. They were a wealth of information to us as first time visitors to wine country. They gave us off the beaten path places to go to not only in wine world but other places. The studio was super clean. The bedding and bed were incredibly comfortable. The only thing that was missing was a kitchen sink so we could wash up the dishes from our morning breakfast and coffee. The muffins and fruit brought to our deck side retreat every morning were just the right morning breakfast! We were close to several wineries including the Raymond Burr (across the road). This winery would be the perfect place to sit with a crusty loaf of bread, some cheese, a bottle of wine (I recommend the Malbec) and just look at the beautiful view. Lots of great restaurants in Healdsburg that we enjoyed. Geyserville is close as well! Catellis was a great Italian place to eat! The view of the vineyards in all their autumn glory were one of the highlights of staying on the farm. We also had pomegranates from their tree as well as persimmons."

  • Quaint Garden Cottage

"What a delightful place to stay! My husband and I went to Healdsburg for the weekend with some friends who were staying in town at a fancy hotel. We decided to save some money and stay at the garden cottage. We are so glad that we did and all of our friends were jealous of our accommodations. The place is very clean with great amenities. The owners take care to make sure it's stocked with essentials from toiletries to coffee and butter. The farm fresh eggs and tomatoes from the garden were a special touch that made us feel like we were living in the country. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in in a long time with extremely comfortable pillows. The grounds are nice and relaxing with gorgeous views of the Russian River valley. We did have to pay $20 for each cab ride to town but found it easy to get cabs to and from town and even with 8 cab rides over the course of a 3 day weekend we ended up paying less than 1/3 of what our friends paid for their hotel room in town. It is very quiet and you don't even see the owners or anyone while you are there. It feels very private. We really enjoyed staying there and have already recommended it to family and friends. Next time we'll return with our kids as the house is stocked full of kids games and toys to keep them entertained. A very nice place to stay and a great value."

  • I don't usually write reviews but we are absolutely IN LOVE with this place!

"Now that I have stayed at the treehouse I can't really imagine staying anywhere else! I think that the only thing I would do differently is bring a knife sharpener :) I loved the captains bed.. super comfy! It was cold and rainy and the electric heater and extra blankets kept us warm and toasty. We decided to camp out in the living room the second night to be by the fire not thinking about the fact that the bathroom was downstairs. woops. our bad ;) Even the fold out couch was comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were 2 coffee making options, a regular electric one and a french press. The french press was broken so if french press is your thing I suggest bringing your own. The electric coffee maker works just fine though. Towels and linens were great.. everything about this place was great. One of many things I love about this place is it feels very secluded yet you are super close to everything you need. Safeway, cafes, restaurants etc. We also highly recommend Boon's!"

  • Girls Getaway Weekend

"Lovely home. I've stayed at many VRBO properties across the country and this is the nicest I've stayed at. Loved the furnishings and beautiful setting and appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail. Wonderful place for 5 moms to leave the kids and husbands behind and have a weekend to reconnect and share lots of laughter and good times (and great wines, too!)"
