  • Awesome Family Getaway

"What a wonderful and warm home....we spent one week with our daughters and grandchildren at Winchmore House and couldn't have been any more pleased with the house. The property is even better than the pictures and description, the yard and outside patio are just wonderful. The location is great, plenty of shopping, restaurants and easy access to main highways, yet super quiet and private neighborhood. We will definitely stay again when visiting our friends and family in Sonoma and Marin counties."

  • Perfect family getaway

"My husband and I stayed in the house for a few days after our wedding so that we could have extra time with family in a low-key setting. It was the perfect retreat. We swam, hung out in the hot tub, watched the sun set, and drank the delicious wine. We all had a very hard time leaving! But we'll be back."

  • Beautiful home. Comfortable and accommodating.

"My family was here for 5 nights to attend my son's wedding in Kenwood. I had the master, my mother had the lovely blue and white bedroom, my grandson the twin room, and my other son and his SO in the wine room. The 1.5 baths near these bedrooms worked out fine for them. First, this home is in a great location for wine tasting both north of Santa Rosa, and south into the Sonoma Valley and over to Napa. The views from the back windows and deck are very nice, day and night. The main rooms are large and comfortable (could use a few more end tables and lamps). The kitchen is the heart of the home. Between the living/dining areas and the family room, it was immediately the hub of our living. Plenty of space for several people to work in the kitchen. A few steps up to the master, a few steps down to the family room - not too much unless a person not very mobile. The master bedroom suite was large and comfortable (suggest a new fan - that one was noisy) with nice views out of the bathroom windows. Like being in a tree house with the double set of french doors. The yard was fairly large and the play structure was a hit with my grandson. Wish we had the time to use the hot tube, bbq on the deck, etc. There were notes everywhere about how to operate appliances, lights, etc, which I appreciated. It was well stocked with quality equipment (could use a better set of knives). I would definitely stay here again. I think a ladies weekend here would be perfect!"

  • A beautiful, convenient and comfortable home!

"We loved this beautiful and relaxing home. It is a wonder of architecture and interior design! It would be difficult to choose a favorite room between the spacious and well designed kitchen, a bright and comfortable living room that views both the creek and the wrap around decks, expansive decks that overlook the creek with lots of seating, comfortable bedrooms with their own baths, a separate television room with a remarkable skylight, and last but not least a library/nook with comfortable furniture and large window. For nature lovers, the deck puts you very close to a creek and riparian area that brought lots of birds including the iconic Western Tanager. It is walking distance to Doyle Creek Park to the west and less than 5 miles to Annadel State Park to the east. We found it convenient to all the sights in Santa Rosa and Sonoma County (Schulz museum, coastal sequoias, Bodega Bay, etc.) The owners were very nice people who contacted us after we arrived to make sure we didn’t overlook some amenities and even invited us to harvest vegetables from their nice planter garden."
