"Our extended family just spent a near-perfect weekend at Rancho Wikiup. Even when it was raining, there were always fun things to do. Wikiup is perfectly equipped, with toys for kids, a pool table, and a secluded hot tub. The kitchen works well for a big group. Conveniently close are stores and hiking. We held a treasure hunt mostly on the spacious grounds, and it was a blast because three teams could be looking in different places without seeing much of each other. Beds are all comfortable. This is a unique, very special place- it would be hard to find a better sport for a group getaway! We look forward to a future stay at Rancho Wikiup."

"We were visiting Santa Rosa for a family wedding and chose this home because it was close to where the bride and groom lived. We were 3 couples, one with a toddler, another couple solo and another couple with 2 college-age girls. The main space of the house was big enough that everyone was happy and we didn't get in each other's way. The master bedroom was spacious and had a small outdoor balcony. One thing to consider is that the bathroom in the master bedroom does not have a door and so if you are 4 people (using the trundle bed) there may be a problem with who is in the room when someone else is showering ... We worked it out so it wasn't a real problem. The other two bedrooms were somewhat small, especially with a crib in one, but like I said, it all worked out. The house was very comfortable and it had every amenity described in the listing. We contacted the owners about the whereabouts of the crib and they were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction. We didn't get to use the pool because it wasn't warm enough, but I should think in the warmer months it would get a lot of use! It was a very nice place to stay and we would recommend it to others!"

Perfect ranch style lodging in Sebastopol Hills wine country
"I am a Pinot Noir wine writer and have stayed at a number of properties in Sonoma County over the years, and I must say this was my favorite. The house is nestled among vineyards, with well-kept landscaping, an outdoor spa and patio with BBQ, well-equipped kitchen, large dining table for 8, cozy family room and living room, spacious bedrooms with very comfortable king beds, and modern bathrooms. The owner is very responsive and keeps the property clean and well-maintained."

"Just returned for another visit to the Wine Country Estate. Another week in paradise, and the new, modern, upgraded kitchen looks like the set of a cooking TV show. The view out the new kitchen retractable doors right out of Conde Nast. New steam room and sauna compare to the best health club imaginable. That plus a hot tub and large pool. You'll want for nothing, except a return trip. And by the way, Melanie the property manager is the best by far. There for check in, with refreshments and a tour, and available 24/7 for any of your needs.
Needless to say, we'll be back."
