"We were six sisters joining together to have fun times and drink wine. Jackie was awesome and very helpful with directing us to different regions to tour wineries. The house is lovely, the pool is very inviting and the grounds are beautiful. We hope to get back again very soon."

"thanks to our new Vineyard family of Mitch and DeAnne and the dogs and Chickens and Roosters....Russell Crow..I still chuckle......we went to celebrate our anniversary and ended up joining a new family.
I call it the Sonoma equivalent of working on a dude ranch! We were given a tour of the property, learned a ton about the region and specifically the vineyard and how the natural makeup of the area attributed to creating such rich and complex grapes. Had a little work-out doing the "press-down" twice/day on the 2015 Merlot and loved every second of it. Oh and of course, enjoyed watching the sunset and moon rise while
sampling some of the most wonderful wines! I have never tasted a Chardonnay like this in all of my samplings...even in Australia....so different...but so perfect!
We stayed in grandmas house...and boy does gramdmas house have a great view !!! A couple of things might differ slightly from the pictures here, but the best ones of the vineyard and valley views especially from the Hot Tub are True to life!! If you are looking for a 5 star-antiseptic hotel..this isn't it! The home is "real", "comfortable", "functional" and a place to come home to every night after your day's adventures.
We loved being part of something that we know will continue to grow into Mitch and DeAnne's dream as the years progress and we look forward to being the first members of the Black Knight Vineyard Wine club...hint hint DeAnne !!
cheers to you DeAnne and Mitch and best of luck chasing your dreams!"

"What a wonderful home. Beautiful, tranquil, clean and lovely. Everything we needed and then some. Diane and Nick are great hosts...really lovely people. We desperately needed relaxation and we got it...every last detail from the pool to the jacuzzi to the fountain and grounds. We got so close to nature. We enjoyed our own private patio every morning. The kids loved the loft and went to sleep enjoying the stars every night. Our teenager had her own private room and so did we! We can't say enough wonderful things about this property and its owners (even though part of me doesn't want anyone to know so we can keep it to ourselves!). This house is also a perfect location. Close to the ocean, SF, wine country, redwoods, great restaurants, art communities...the full CA experience. It was hard to leave..."

Charming Santa Rosa cottage close to TONS of vineyards
"The Perkins' family cottage was a perfect place for our first stay in wine country. We chose Santa Rosa because it was central to Sonoma, Dry Creek Valley and Napa wineries.
This cottage couldn't have been more convenient for us. We wanted to stay somewhere outside of the city but close enough to run in for breakfast & dinner. It was decorated nicely, with plenty of towels and bedding. And I have to say, the bed was very comfortable! I'm picky about beds so I was nervous but pleasantly surprised.
You won't regret staying here with the Perkins'. The cottage is right in their backyard but it's very private and they will not bother you at all (unless you want to chat and hang out with them and their new puppy like we did!). It was my birthday during our stay and when we mentioned where we were going for dinner (Dry Creek Kitchen) Steve promptly said that was one of their favorite places to eat. After we finished our meals there later that night the waiter brought us 2 glasses of a lovely port...compliments of Steve! I thought that was such a nice gesture and showed he really cared about us as his guests. There is much more to say but I won't bore everyone with our details. If you are deciding on where to stay, just book this cottage, you will love it! We will definitely be returning here in the future!"
