  • Nice Home in the Hill Country

"The home is easily accessible with a great view of the hillside. Ranch style layout with 3 large bedrooms with comfortable beds, large comfortable living room, and newly remodeled kitchen that is well-stocked. We enjoyed making our meals there. Nice sized deck with ample seating. Pool while beautiful is unheated so we were unable to use it. Hot tub would have been great. The bathrooms are a bit dated with well water (sulfur odor as are in mineral springs region). The owners were very helpful and welcoming and we felt very relaxed and comfortable in the home."

  • Perfect location

"This was our first stay in the cottage. I found that the location was perfect for me. I love to walk, and Spring Lake is within easy waling distance and a great place to walk. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and we slept better here than we do at home. The cottage is small, older, and a little rustic, but has everything you need including access to the owner's garden, tea, coffee, a place to sit outside, and so on. I only met one of the owners (they were busy getting ready for an art show) but Robin was very nice and really wanted to make sure everything was okay for us. If you want luxury I am not sure I would stay here, but it was perfect for my husband and I, comfortable, quiet, and centrally located. If you want to see the wine country in Napa County and Sonoma County, both are easily accessible from this location."

  • Interesting place

"My wife and I stayed here for 3 days in September and found it a somewhat unusual, but interesting place. The unusual is because it is in the country, fairly high up with very little going on around it. We are regular VRBO travelers and this unit is different. It has all the amenities that are listed and it is quite clean. One oddity for us is that the master bedroom is not in the same building as the living room and kitchen. Sure there is a bed in the main building, but it isn't practical for us to have a bed right in the middle of the main room so it seemed pretty obvious to use the "studio" as the main bedroom. That means walking outside when you go between the buildings. The high point was the dog "Din" who seemed to adopt us and hang around whenever we were there."

  • Oaks at Olivet

"We had a most relaxing weekend at "Rancho Relaxo" and wanted to say thank you. Your cottage there is lovely, comfortable, and more spacious than expected. We slept very well as the beds were very comfortable and all was quiet. Thank you for making up the bed for our son, too. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout, and we enjoyed the artwork and how it was decorated. The plums were delicious, thank you. We enjoyed meeting all your four-legged members (dogs, cats, alpacas, goats). It was truly a pleasure to stay there."
