"We went on a cycle, wine, and relax weekend with 2 other couples and our home base had it all. The comforts of a five star resort without the room service charge. Hot Tub, BBQ, grounds and the home accoutrements made for a first class trip. Thanks!"

"House interior is very well designed and furnished. Love how the water wise front yard coordinates with the colors inside. Nice bathrooms, view of vineyard from the luxury showers. Best day was visiting the Pacific Redwoods at Armstrong Forest, buying local produce from Forestville Farmer's Market, creating dinner in a gourmet kitchen and eating it with a glass of Martin Ray Cab as the sun sets through the old apple trees. Only wish the grape farmers didn’t have to till the ground the next morning. Well, we chose the countryside and will definitely choose it again!"

"The castle is a unique place with a history to match. If you are as fortunate as we were, the owner and host, Michael, will share its rich history an make outstanding recommendations on the offerings of this wonderful region. The castle is nestled in vineyards and a quiet neighborhood centrally located amongst excellent vineyards. It would be easily comfortable for 8 but still intimate enough for a romantic getaway. Michael is a consummate host and the eclectic home has a beautiful kitchen with a traditional floorpan with a secret passage to a game room, bar and another bedroom area that beckons a party. The deck and wooded locale offer a wonderful serene place for your morning coffee. I truly recommend this unique location due to its wonderful host and central location. I cannot recommend this place enough and you must drive the Russian River to its confluence with the Pacific, highway one to San Francisco and take advantage of all of Michaels recommendations. Thank you Michael, while our stay was short its memories will not be. SPECTACULAR!"

"This home was perfect for two couples to explore the wine country together. It was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Having access to a washer and dryer was also very helpful. The home was very peaceful and quiet. We absolutely loved morning walks through the vineyards and beautiful views from the property. The only downside was that it was a little warm the day we arrived (outdoor temperatures in the 90s) because of lack of air conditioning. However, once the sun went down and we opened the windows, it cooled down nicely. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely consider staying here again for our next visit to the wine country."
