Great for young family!
"We just spent a week at casa Sonoma, and we really enjoyed our time! The amenities are great, the grounds are fantastic! They have most everything you could need for the pool, evenings on the patio, even a pack n play for our 7 month old!
We loved the location, but it is about 10 min or so to Sonoma square with the traffic. It is close to Glen Ellen, and that is such a charming town! Wish we had found it earlier in the week!
We just had us and our new baby, and my mom who came to help and relax, I don't think the accommodations would be great for two-three couples, with the second bathroom in the main trafficway, but it was great for our vacation!"

"We booked this property as my son was getting married in Sonoma. We were a family of 10 from the UK, sadly due to medical emergencies in the UK and then in San Francisco only 6 of us made it to the property. Despite the sadness of our reduced numbers we couldn't have been more happy with the property. The tranquil setting and the amazing views calmed us all. We would like to thank the maintenance man who greeted a very stressed family and his calm and friendly nature made us feel immediately at home. The house has a great happy family feel and we just loved our time there. Maybe one day we will return with our missing guest and enjoy this space together."

"This was a very special vacation for my family as my husband and I were renewing our wedding vows with our 3 children and their spouses. We read all the reviews before booking and looked at the photos but it's always hard to tell until you arrive.
But from start to finish, this was wonderful. We called ahead per instructions and we were met by Jeanette, one of the owners, who gave us a tour showing us her beautiful home. The space was amazing. There was coffee, tea, half and half and a bottle of red and white to start us off as well as some snacks. The kitchen is a chef's dream. It is set up perfectly with beautiful countertops and cabinets and it's huge. Then the wall in pantry was fully stocked with tons of spices and supplies. There is every gadget imaginable as well as pots and pans, a ton of wine glasses, a fantastic grill and paper supplies. Every time we opened another drawer, we would find something to cook with. My son is a professional chef and he cooked us dinner our last night and said it was a perfect layout.
Now to bedrooms - There were 8 of us and we spread out and used the downstairs "apartment" and the attached cottage apartment both of which had their own full baths. The downstairs has a pool table and a big screen TV with a supply of movies. The cottage has its own separate entrance. We used two of the three upstairs bedrooms. Every couple had their own bath and tons of space. Each room had a huge closet, two fluffy bathrobes and a large supply of towels. One of my favorite parts of the house though, was the views. This is a treed lot with deer, wild turkeys, humming birds and other fauna. You can see wineries from the huge outdoor patio and from the dining room and from the master bedroom. WOW!!
I would be remiss if I didn't end by thanking both Dave and Jeanette for their hospitality. They offered to help with recommendations on wineries and restaurants. Since we knew where we wanted to go (we have a huge wine cellar with over 600 bottles), and where we wanted to eat, we mistakenly waited too long to take them up on the offer. They know the area and are extremely helpful and responsive. I wish we had checked in with them first even though we had great meals.
The only qualifier I would make is that you should plan to a) spent most of your time in Sonoma vs. Napa and b) spend some time at the house relaxing and enjoying it. We didn't use the fireplaces or the hot tub due to lack of time."

"Perfect property for 2 couples. Quiet and very private. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Good to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with condiments/essentials provided. Laundry machines were greatly appreciated. LOVED the huge porch and well treed, private property. The hot tub looked inviting, but we never had the time to use it. The Plaza was a 20 minute walk away. Bike rentals were close by. We parked the cars and enjoyed Sonoma on foot and by bike. Caroline's Cottage was the perfect spot for our 4 day escape to Sonoma."
