"We stayed here over the weekend with our 3 young boys. This cottage was a little piece of heaven for us! Our boys loved the countryside and especially the tire swing at the top of the hill overlooking the valley. We loved that this cottage was just minutes from town, yet you are in such a secluded peaceful little valley you'd never know it. The cottage was clean and inviting and had all the amenities needed. The sunrises here are amazing! Plenty of space inside and out to relax and enjoy the sunshine and the birds singing. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. We didn't ever want to leave!"Guest: Zarah C. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 19, 2014View listing
"While researching our 4 day visit to Sonoma, I found Dawn's place, as well as a few other promising ones, and forwarded them to our friends we traveled with. This home was the unanimous choice, so we booked it. Owner was prompt in her replies and helpful with questions. But the place! We stayed out on the back deck every minute we weren't sleeping (or gone exploring Sonoma county...which was a lot). The kitchen and dining area were the only other places we hung out...cooked dinner on the grill; watched the birds and deer; and just laughed and talked into the wee hours. All four of us hated to move on to the next part of the trip, agreeing that the times on Dawn's back deck for a true highlight of the trip! Thanks much for your hospitality, Dawn."Guest: Belo Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 3, 2014View listing
"Our first look at the cabin impressed us with with the beautiful flowers and landscaping. The five decks afforded many beautiful views. The inside was nicely decorated and spacious with all the towels, bedding, and dishes that we needed. The rural location and rustic atmosphere were relaxing...yet downtown Healdsburg is only a hop, skip, and jump away. The lack of laundry facilities and air-conditioning were the only minor downside though the temperature was acceptable following the open windows at night/close during day routine. All-in-all, our stay was pleasant...and we'd recommend this rental to anyone. Thank you, Sue!"Guest: Paul C. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 28, 2014View listing
"30 April 2014 Dear Winnie & Bob, Once again we leave Sonoma and your beautiful home filled with gratitude for how fortunate we are to have had this opportunity. The physical surroundings of both Sonoma and your home are elegant and at the same time filled with warmth. You are so generous to open your home to us and also open your hearts in friendship. The words that surround the daily experiences are connection and community. Each year it becomes more clear what a unique place Sonoma is. This was the best year yet! The memories will linger… With Heart, Diane & Mike"Guest: Dee Dee Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: July 10, 2014View listing
