  • Great location

"Owner was very responsive to emails, and the description of the home is accurate. It's a very nice 2-story house with 2 beds and a futon, right off the main road. The deck surrounding the the home is great and has fantastic views of the river. The location was my favorite part because where the house is on at the river, even during this drought, is very full and deep which is great for swimming. Even has a nice little private dock. The hot tub is also a nice bonus. Close to Korbel, and just a mile or 2 down the road to Safeway. The only downside I could see anyone complaining about is the sound of road traffic right out front, even at night. But we didn't mind much. Would rent again."

  • Excellent Rental Experience!

"I was skeptical about booking through VRBO but I am SO GLAD I did! The house was immaculate and the whole rental process was flawless. Christine was prompt in her responses and excellent to rent from. You enter and exit the house through a door code which worked great for our large group of girls. The back patio area was where my group spent most of our time and it was delightful. We walked to the square several times for meals as it is only .5 miles away and would typically Uber back home. We also did most of our grocery shopping at Safeway which is only 1 mile away. All the girls agreed that next time we would stay much longer!"

  • Harbour Lights-Great Place with Great views

"We had a great time at harbour lights. The home is very well kept and has spectacular views of the ocean and the golf course. The property sits in a safe golf course community which has access to the beach below. The place is very close to all the best restaurants and shopping in Bodega Bay (under a mile). The home in itself is very well stocked for all your needs. The beds are very comfortable and the toilets came with enough towels and toiletries. We were also able to use the outside grill after a little cleaning. The great room, dining area and the two outside decks provide for amazing views. Our group of two families with young kids had a great time and we will definitely return. Thanks Jessica, from BBBVR, for helping us find this wonderful place so close to our chosen dates. We highly recommend this property. Enjoy!!!"

Wine Country Travel Tips

California Wine Country Travel Gives You Access to World-class Wines

Beyond the beaches, if there is one thing for which the state of California is known, it is its wine country. Producing some of the finest wines in the world, the Napa and Sonoma regions of California are often at the top of wine enthusiasts' lists when it comes to California wine country travel. If you are looking for a vacation idea that is unique and different and may also help you learn just a bit more about this interesting industry, then come on over to California. The vineyards are welcoming, the wines are exceptional and the wine country vacation rentals and wine country lodging are simply luxurious.

A Bouquet of Options with California Wine Country Travel

California wine country is well-accustomed to visitors who want to sample their award-winning wines and tour the vineyards. As a result, you will find a host of wine country lodging options to suit your needs. Whether you need space for just one or two people or you are traveling with a larger group, the wine country vacation rentals in the area will meet your needs. After settling into your vacation home, it will be time to do some exploring. The vineyards in wine country range from small family-owned affairs to much larger vineyards. All of them have one thing in common and it is the hospitality they display to visitors. Most are happy to provide tours, offer samples, give lectures about the characteristics of their wines, and offer shops where you can purchase their products to take home.

Wine Country Vacation Rentals Are Your Connection to Fine Wines

When planning California wine country travel, keep in mind that it is a good idea to check with the local vineyards before you leave your wine country lodging. While most vineyards are all too happy to welcome guests, some vineyards have specific times at which they give tours and are not open to the public during other hours.

Experience It All with Wine Country Lodging

While your main interest may lie in touring the wineries and vineyards during your California wine country travel, keep in mind that there are many other sights to explore in the area as well, including fine shopping and dining opportunities not far from wine country vacation rentals.
