  • Fun Area

"Sonoma is a wonderful area! We had a family reunion/50th birthday at this house. There were 10 of us who all slept very comfortably. The house seemed a bit over priced due to not being as nice as we had hoped. The dining room table seated all 10 of us, which was great. The hot tub is very nice, but the pool is very cold. The TV room was small and this seemed to be where everyone wanted to congregate. There just wasn't enough room even with the kitchen counter to sit at. The loft is darling and very suitable for a teenager. There were no hair dryers which was an inconvenience, especially since we all flew in. Only having 2 bathrooms was a bit of a challenge for 10 of us, but it worked. The house is close to town and other attractions, but gave us that country feel we were looking for. We felt like if a few things were updated it would be perfect!"

  • A Girl's Weekend Getaway

"I have had the opportunity to vacation at this beautiful property and it is worth every penny! The owners have taken great lengths to ensure your stay is as comfortable and convenient as possible. The home is furnished beautifully and I was delighted to find the quality of the linens provided. There is laundry available, and the kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and serve a meal fresh off the grill, which is available for guests on the balcony. Not only that, the view from the side of the house is spectacular. It overlooks the vineyards and is beautiful to watch the sun rise and set. There were also movies, and games available, as well as a toys and pool accessories to make the afternoon of swimming even more enjoyable. The home has plenty of space and is perfectly set up to get a good nap in while the rest of your party enjoys the amenities. I would definitely recommend this property. The seclusion but also the close proximity to wineries, the general store, and other stores for shopping provided a relaxing weekend for our girls trip!"

  • Great weekend getaway!

"Casa Vina was perfect for our group of 6! We loved sitting out front on the patio and sipping wine. Home was clean and functional. Denise was accommodating with our arrival & departure times. Only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer and weren't able to enjoy the bikes. Fun to have the donkey next door greet us in the mornings."

  • Great Cottage

"A girlfriend and I took a little getaway here. Mary and Wayne were very warm and welcoming. They had provided fresh eggs and muffins and some homemade jam "to die for". They provide info for things to see in the area too. It's a lovely, quiet place that you can rest and relax and "recharge". I want to go back with some other "gal pals". Rocky, the golden lab, was a treasure also."

Wine Country Travel Tips

California Wine Country Travel Gives You Access to World-class Wines

Beyond the beaches, if there is one thing for which the state of California is known, it is its wine country. Producing some of the finest wines in the world, the Napa and Sonoma regions of California are often at the top of wine enthusiasts' lists when it comes to California wine country travel. If you are looking for a vacation idea that is unique and different and may also help you learn just a bit more about this interesting industry, then come on over to California. The vineyards are welcoming, the wines are exceptional and the wine country vacation rentals and wine country lodging are simply luxurious.

A Bouquet of Options with California Wine Country Travel

California wine country is well-accustomed to visitors who want to sample their award-winning wines and tour the vineyards. As a result, you will find a host of wine country lodging options to suit your needs. Whether you need space for just one or two people or you are traveling with a larger group, the wine country vacation rentals in the area will meet your needs. After settling into your vacation home, it will be time to do some exploring. The vineyards in wine country range from small family-owned affairs to much larger vineyards. All of them have one thing in common and it is the hospitality they display to visitors. Most are happy to provide tours, offer samples, give lectures about the characteristics of their wines, and offer shops where you can purchase their products to take home.

Wine Country Vacation Rentals Are Your Connection to Fine Wines

When planning California wine country travel, keep in mind that it is a good idea to check with the local vineyards before you leave your wine country lodging. While most vineyards are all too happy to welcome guests, some vineyards have specific times at which they give tours and are not open to the public during other hours.

Experience It All with Wine Country Lodging

While your main interest may lie in touring the wineries and vineyards during your California wine country travel, keep in mind that there are many other sights to explore in the area as well, including fine shopping and dining opportunities not far from wine country vacation rentals.
