  • Downtown Denver with fantastic views!

"If you want to be in the heart of Downtown Denver, this is the place to stay! Convenient to everything downtown has to offer. Denver Performing Arts is right across the street. 16th St Mall is 2 blocks away. Starbucks is right around the corner! Walking distance to everything…restaurants, book stores, movie theater, souvenir shops, convention center, and local entertainment at the 16th St Mall. Lots of fun! The condo is on the 34th floor and from the balcony you can see the Rocky Mtns and Mile High Stadium. The views of the Rocky Mtns are gorgeous! The condo is perfectly furnished with comfortable furniture, bedding, and a fully furnished kitchen. Granite countertops and the view from the kitchen is amazing. The balcony is a perfect place to start your morning! Best shower head around and a beautifully redone bathroom. There is a pool, a billiard room, a laundry room and access to the attached 7-11 from the first floor. Forget something- no problem. Very clean. Friendly staff. The condo is secure and parking is available to visitors on a first come first serve basis. You don't need a car though as public transportation is readily available. Had a great time and will look to rent this property again on my next visit to Denver. The owner is very accommodating, met us at the condo on our arrival, and helped us get settled. Thanks again Robb!"

  • Great location and great house!

"My family of three stayed at this little two bedroom house on our first trip to Denver. We always prefer to stay in houses/condos/apartments and skip hotels whenever possible. We have booked many times through VRBO and have had great luck. This time was no different. The location of this house is amazing. You are right in the middle of the city but it feels like you are tucked away in a cute little neighborhood. We were out and about every day seeing new things and were able to easily make our way to all of our different activities. We spent some time walking the area as well - finding good pizza, ice cream and a park to run it all of at!! The amenities in the house are just as stated. The Wi-Fi works well, kitchen is well stocked, bedrooms are comfortable and have adequate storage. We cooked many meals in the house and wanted for nothing. We were able to do several loads of laundry (thanks to the 5 year old!) with no problems. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family and we would stay here again if we returned to Denver. Make sure to check out voodoo donuts not too far from the house as well as three guys pies for pizza! Also - walk through Cheeseman park - it's absolutely gorgeous!!"

  • Beautiful and Relaxing!

"We absolutely loved everything about our stay at this home. It was quiet and secluded, yet close to activities for our young children (3 & 1). My husband was also working in and around Denver, so it was easily accessible to him on a daily basis. We loved spending time on both patios and my kids absolutely loved feeding the fish each day. The kitchen was beautiful and we enjoyed cooking several meals at the house and dining on the front patio overlooking the valley. The owner could not have been more accommodating and friendly. She even found and took the time to quickly ship back my child's sippy cups and part of a baby gate I left at the house. Every detail was taken care of and well thought out for every guest She was so helpful in recommendations and was so hospitable! Attention to detail is seen throughout the house from wonderful linens, down pillows, luxurious towels to everything you can imagine in the kitchen! Loved our stay and meeting the owner. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!! Thanks again!!!"

  • Cozy and Roomy! Perfect!

"Our time at this rental property was fabulous! From our first contact w/ the owners until we received our deposit check, we were VERY impressed. The info we received prior to arriving was thorough and helped us to know what to expect. Phone calls were returned promptly and all questions answered. We arrived to a very clean and organized home, complete with instructions for locking up, how to find local places to eat, and contact numbers if we needed anything. The home was just lovely - comfortable and with plenty of space for adults and kids to spread out and relax, both inside and out. The kitchen was stocked with many extras such as spices, seasonings, condiments, pizza cutter, potholders etc. We had several kids with us, so we did grab some paper plates and cups to help cut down on the use of dishes - although the kitchen had all we'd have needed. There was a Walmart Fresh Market very close to the property, which we visited daily! This property was exactly as it is listed, and we felt like it was very private and peaceful. The location was fantastic for a visit to CO, as we were able to make day trips both south to CO Springs, and west to Winter Park and still drive home to get a good night's rest in this great home. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time in the home since we were so busy sightseeing! Exit instructions were simple and clear, and we received our deposit check within the stated 2 week time period. We have never used a home-away rental before, and these owners gave us a wonderful experience! 5 STARS!"

Denver Area Travel Tips

Denver Vacation Rentals in a Picturesque Setting

Nicknamed “Mile High City,” Denver is exactly 5,280 feet (1,609 meters) high, making the official elevation one mile above sea level. It was established in 1858 when gold was discovered where the South Platte River and Cherry Creek intersect. Prospectors flooded the area and by 1860, there were 100,000 people in Denver. It is now a thriving urban city with museums, shops and historical architecture, surrounded by the beautiful Rocky Mountains. With its top-notch sports teams and excellent reputation for dining, Denver is a great base for enjoying an action-packed vacation.

What Denver Vacation Homes Have to Offer

Renting a fully furnished apartment or log cabin is the best way for families and couples to enjoy the great outdoor space around Denver. Offering more amenities and space than a typical hotel suite, a vacation home makes a great base for guests to come and go as they please. With a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, family meals can be quickly and easily prepared, making for considerable savings. It also enables guests to fully appreciate the environment and “live like a local,” if only for a week. With plenty of space and comfortable living areas, a Denver vacation home allows everyone to spread out and have their own space, with quiet areas for reading away from the TV.

Best way to Travel to Denver

Denver International Airport is just 19 miles from the center of Denver and has plenty of flights daily from all over the U.S. and internationally. Rent a hire car or 4x4 and your fun Denver vacation is about to begin. For those who prefer to take a road trip, Denver is easy to reach from Interstate 70, 76 or 25. A vehicle is advisable for getting around the area although mountain biking, kayaking and walking are also popular.

Places to Visit Around Denver

The downtown historic district of Denver is known as LoDo (Lower Downtown) and has a wealth of historic buildings and landmarks. It is also a great place for dining. Further afield, the Three Sisters Park at Evergreen is a great place for hiking and mountain biking with spectacular views of the Three Sisters Peaks. One of the most popular areas around Denver is Golden, home to the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave. It now houses Native American artifacts and memorabilia from his Wild West shows. Golden is also the location of the Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum. The Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater has some extraordinary sandstone formations which date back over millions of years. A 1.4-mile trail loops around the area, allowing for the best views. Dinosaur Ridge in Morrison is another unique attraction in an area which is rich in fossils and runs from New Mexico to Canada.

Things to do From Your Denver Lodging

Things to do in and around Denver are almost limitless. Denver has more breweries than any other city in the U.S. so a visit to one of these, coupled with a tasting experience, is a must. The area has many mountain and urban trails for biking and hiking. Shopping, museums, historic attractions and the zoo all make the city area very appealing. Beyond the city, there are hot springs to enjoy, amusement parks, whitewater rafting, train rides, gold mining tours, rock climbing, spelunking (exploring caves), antiquing, sailing, wildlife viewing, bird-watching, fishing, swimming, golf and tennis. During the winter season, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, sledding, snow tubing and ice skiing can be added to the list! There is plenty for all the family to enjoy on a Denver vacation.

Local Weather at Denver Vacation Rentals

Denver enjoys a pleasant semi-arid climate at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Low humidity, moderate temperatures and plenty of sunshine draw visitors all year long. Metro Denver reportedly has 300 sunny days a year. The higher mountains in the area receive a significant amount of snowfall during the winter months.
