"From our first communication with the owner before our trip, we knew our stay at the large, conveniently located apartment would be great. The Apartment was much more than we expected! It was large, clean, and filled with everything a couple would need during their stay. The kitchen , bathroom, and laundry room were all stocked with lots of things every type of traveler would need. The kitchen was filled with dishes, pots and pans, and appliances like a blender, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and fresh ground coffee from a local coffee shop, as well as pots and pans and spices, and kitchen staples like sugar, flour, etc. There was fresh ice made and in the ice bin as well as more ice freezing in the ice trays. There was even a " junk" drawer that had tape, scissors, batteries, string, and all the things that one would need.
The bathroom had a big claw foot tub complete with the silver tray that stretches over the tub so that you can fill it with your soaps, sponges, and books as you lounge in the tub. Just like in a British movie! There is a shower as well -- for the guys.
There was even a first aid kit filled with moleskin and bandages for our blisters from hiking, as well as antibiotic cream and poison ivy anti itch cream. It also had Tylenol and even a thermometer. How is that for well stocked and attention to detail? The bathroom is big and roomy with lots of storage, as well as the bedroom. We could have stayed there all summer and not feel cramped. The living room had a big nice leather couch and a large leather chair. There was a desk for writing your postcards, and a dining room area right by the front windows to watch the world go by outside.
The owner, was avail. by phone or text anytime we needed to ask a question or to just share pics of where we were and what we were doing. He said he had fun looking at Denver and surrounding areas through our eyes. The apartment was quiet and only a few blocks from the State Capitol. Every morning we walked out and looked at it with the morning sun reflecting off of the shiny gold top of the Capitol. The downtown arts, parks, and museum district is within walking distance. Don't forget to give the big Public Library a look. There are ample restaurants nearby and many of them deliver. We are from Ft. Worth, TX were no restaurant except chain pizza places deliver. All the restaurants menus are also in that junk drawer. How easy is that? ! We loved it!! We would stay there again."
