"We came to Denver for a scientific convention and decided to stay in Barbara's house during this time. Connection to Downton is excellent - you just need to walk few minutes to Colfax Ave and catch the bus which takes you to 15th St. & California, which is almost at the door of Colorado Convention Center :) Getting around the city in Denver is easy easy and relatively cheap (6,75$ for day ticket) public transport drivers are very friendly and helpful, always willing to check some connections or routes for you :)
The house itself - enough to say: you can fall in love with it! Warm, cosy, decorated with taste, equipped with everything that you need during your stay.
Complete kitchen equipment, washing machine, tumbler, iron - everything is there. We unfortunately couldn't enjoy barbecue on patio, because of the rainy weather, but gas grill is there, instructions how to use it as well.
Boardgames and television will entertain you if the weather does not encourage city exploration ;)
The owners provide all the necessary information, all descriptions are accurate, we felt completely 'taken care of', especially with the list of tips about good places to enjoy around the location :)
Whenever I get a chance to visit Denver again, I will definitely choose Barbara's house :)"

"We came to Denver for a long weekend family gathering, M&D mid-sixties, three kids all 20-something. This was a great find for us, as our first VRBO. Charming place, old but well-updated and contemporary in its performance.
This is a very walkable location, 5 blocks to Whole Foods and Potager restaurant (innovative and very good) one block to Jelly's, 3 blocks to the large Argonaut liquor/wine store. We also walked to the State Capitol and beyond to 16th Street Mall in less than 20 minutes. Demographic in the area is mixed, predominantly a hip millennial crowd; we felt very safe.
We used all the bedrooms and all were very comfortable. The kitchen is well outfitted, and we used it and the grill out back several times. Every appliance we needed, and more, all good quality granite and stainless. Patio out back was a favorite gathering spot. The decor of the place is kitchy and interesting, nicely done.
The garage is small but very workable, with automatic remote. We rented a mid-sized SUV and it fit without difficulty. The garage is your parking space as finding a space on the street is very tough.
Ed, the owner, is very responsive, and easy to reach. Our family would certainly stay here again and we recommend the place for a gathering of family and friends.
Thanks again, Ed"

"The owner, Bari, and his neighbor, Sue who is on-site to answer questions and let you into the apartment were easy to work with and our stay was very easy. There is plenty of street parking and in the Denver Car2Go zone if you use the smart car rental service. Every evening there are a few trains that run through town about midnight, 3 am and 6 am which we were not accustomed to hearing at night. The apartment is clean, comfortable, has a nice bathroom with washer and dryer and located a few blocks from Broadway street where there are lots of trendy bars, restaurants, shops etc. - one of our favorites was Historians Ale House, the fried cheese curds and pork chop entree were worth the stay alone. We were thrilled that there was a printer available since we had tickets for an event and that made it easy to bring those with us. This place has pretty much everything you need for a short or longer stay."
