  • A Home Away From Home

"We used to live a few blocks from Kim and Brenda's loft and chose not to stay with family and friends for a month visit. Brenda made us feel at home instantly, and although photos can be misleading, the unit was even better than pictured and described. We had absolutely no issues with the property. Enjoyed a Rockies game. Loved walking downtown. Check out specials at Z's downstairs. Walked to "New" Union Station. Light Rail to Golden. Cog train up Pike's Peak. Visited old haunts and kids, grandkids, and friends. Great access to the freeways in any direction. Loved the heated, basement garage. Wish we could have stayed longer. Recommended without reservation."

"What else can we say? From the moment we walked in until we left we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful property..House is immaculate with lots of upgrades...Better than described...The Owners were very helpful and easy to communicate with... They helped us with all our questions and needs...We enjoyed the backyard sitting on the patio and bbq'ing several nights..The beds are very comforatable and each bedroom has a tv in it...We especially liked the location..Very quiet and we could even walk over to Sloans lake park!! We have stayed in many VRBO's throughout our years and we would highly recommend this one!!! This will be our new #1 choice when we come to Denver.. Todd and Leanna"

  • Comfortable and Convenient

"This house was perfect for our weekend visit. Our daughter, son-in-law, and toddler grandchild live in Denver but their house is so small that it's not comfortable for all of us to be in it together. We usually stay in a motel, but since our adult son was visiting with us this time, we decided on this place. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt very much at home there."

  • Felt at home, right away

"Not only is Bill's place reasonably close to Downtown Denver with only a 15 minute walk, or so, to the top of 16th Street, but you've also got plenty of places to eat and drink in the local area. However, it's also on a quiet street, in a pleasant neighbourhood, and that makes it the ideal location as far as I'm concerned. It's also close to the highway for those times when you want to get out further afield. On the top floor there's the lounge and kitchen. The lounge is comfortable with a leather sofa and chair, and a railway cart style coffee table. The TV has HDMI ports in case you need to plug in devices, Chromecast, Apple TV etc, and there's a DVD player, Cable box and a small hi-fi system. In the kitchen, there's a gas range cooker with 6 burner hob, which was very efficient, plus the usual microwave, dishwasher and fridge. It was well equipped, but if you're an adventurous cook, then you might miss some electrical gadgets such as mixers and blenders. There is a single bed on the large landing at the back of the house just before you descend to the lower floor, where the two bedrooms are. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable with good quality linen. The second bedroom is opposite and you need to walk though it to get to the back door and the yard. From the yard, there's access to the street at the back, and this is where the allocated off-road parking space can be found. The decor was attractive, and everything was spotlessly clean. We really liked the eclectic mix of artwork and Bill has a good eye for style. The only thing that we missed, slightly, was an information book containing things such as the nearest doctor/hospital etc, should the need have arisen, although we did have a neighbour's number who we could have called on if necessary, and there is always Google Maps so maybe the need is not so great these days. There are plenty of leaflets for tourist attractions, restaurants etc. The Wi-Fi is fast, although I did have problems connecting to the office over a VPN connection, and that's probably down to issues with the Internet provider. Bill was easy to work with on the booking side of things, and everything was efficiently handled by email. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting again next year."
