"Everything about our stay in this spectacular log home was fantastic. There are so many "extras" that you rarely find in a vacation rental. We had our family Christmas there, and could not have been more pleased. Plenty of room, even the one day we were snowed in; comfortable bedrooms and a great kitchen equipped with everything a cook could possibly need. We honestly didn't want to leave. The property is in easy proximity to skiing, downtown Denver, and Blackhawk/Central City, but most of us preferred to sit by the fire and just relax! Some hardy souls took out the sleds and discs and whizzed down to the barn, where the alpacas looked on intently. It was one of the best family gatherings we've ever had, and we would absolutely recommend this property to others. Jeri was the perfect host!"

"This is a fabulous condo and my wife enjoyed her stay. The west facing view is incredible. Completely furnished with all the amenities. The bed was so comfortable she had a hard time forcing herself out of it! The condo is toasty warm even in the winter months. Highly recommend and the landlord is a dream to work with."

"My family came together for a wedding a family reunion with a crew of 14. This home was perfect for us ~ the older folks could relax in peace and the younger ones could go out to Tennyson St to enjoy the pizza and bowling! The home was large and spacious for us to gather together for family time. We had our own rooms and were able to sleep, bath, and eat in what felt like extravagant settings. The windows gave us an incredible view of the mountains as well, which was awesome for my out-of-town family!
Michelle and Randy were amazing and incredibly gracious hosts. They made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. My family hopes to visit again next year."

"We visited about six months ago and the place was the same. Waiting on the livingroom table was a welcome basket which was appreciated. There is lots of closet space. A separate bedroom in the basement can be used for privacy or better yet children.
Please note two minor things. There is no internet, but the library is 4 blocks away where you can use their computers. And the selection of pots and pans is functional for small meals (i.e. one fry pan, one medium pot, one big one, etc.). We did not plan anything bigger than lunch so it was fine. Hey we were traveling, do you want to home cook then? Lack of the internet knocked my rating by one star.
There are a lot of stores within a mile or so. Go over the interstate 2 blocks away and you will be among several plazas with every kind of store and restaurant you will ever need. You will need a car. The garage has a remote opener for you. There is a ramp to the front door."
