  • Best Thanksgiving Ever!!

"What a great house and location! From the beautiful hardwood floors to the clean well decorated rooms to the unique artwork on the walls...which I spend some time appreciating and trying to analyze. I love this place. You can walk up into the trails of the foothills across the street and you may find deer roaming the streets as I did. You can walk into town or just down the street for a Starbuck. We cooked a fantastic turkey dinner for Thanksgiving in their incredible kitchen that had everything. What a special place. You can't go wrong."

  • Fabulous Vacation Home

"We have stayed at a number of VRBOs in Denver, and this was one of the best for our family of 5. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the house was very well stocked with many thoughtful extras. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the comfortable kitchen, and all the cookware we needed was there. There is even a cute playroom in the basement, a toddler bed, pack and play and extra twin bed in the master bedroom upstairs, which would make this a great set up for families with young kids. Also, the owner was very responsive and easy to work with. With it's great location, comfortable set up and extra amenities, we will definitely rent this place again in the future."

  • Great bungalow, close to town, nice views.

"We had a great 5 day stay at the house. It's a cute little craftsman style house with a big front porch with awesome views. We got snowed in the first night/next day as they didn't plow street until 3pm, but that's ok. It was great that it happened because it forced us to walk to downtown Golden for the day which we had a fun time shopping and dining....what an awesome town! The kitchen is nicely equipped, we cooked almost every dinner there. The backyard is nice too. We enjoyed hot dogs over the fire out back one day, steaks on the grill another day, and broiled salmon in the oven the last night. TV and Internet work great and are easy to use. They have both cable and Apple TV so plenty to watch on those cozy nights. Bed was comfy and lots of extra linens and towels were provided. We brought our two large dogs and they loved it. The yard was fenced in for them to explore and we walked them into town many times and around the neighborhood. There was a box with pet towels and supplies which was appreciated in the closet. There is a nice paved path in the downtown along the river that you don't want to miss! Great scenery. Try Woodys Pizza buffet and salad bar, and Old Capital Grille, both in downtown. The house does have many steps up to the front door since it is on an elevated lot with a view so if you have a hard time with stairs I would not recommend, but if not, the views from the raised porch is beautiful! Overall great place to stay and we'd go back if we had the chance."

  • Comfort & convenience in a great location

"We traveled to Denver for a family wedding in early January. A relative suggested staying in LoDo (Lower Downtown) as it is a happening and convenient place. Before booking we considered staying in a hotel. Renting a VRBO, however, was a superior experience over staying in a hotel and a bit less expensive. This was our first VRBO experience and the transaction went well. It was very reassuring to have point person (Carla) who we could call if anything went wrong. Nothing did! The unit was well furnished and comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, the views of Denver and environs were great (3 different vistas) out huge floor to ceiling windows. Both the bed in the master (king size) and 2nd bedroom (queen) were extremely comfortable. The 3rd sleeping arrangement (pull out sofa) could have been made more comfortable with some type of topper. Another reviewer suggested installing a TV over the fireplace which was installed but was not hooked up. We parked in the building with a rental car which was super convenient and easy. All and all we had a marvelous experience and I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in LoDo for 4 nights or longer. Thank you!"
