"My friend and I stayed at the cabin. The place was very clean and homely . . . in short, it's a great getaway. I appreciated having the fireplace, which we used all weekend. The kitchen has decent utensils for cooking. No dishwasher. The only negative I would say is that the back patio and front porches are average, and not THAT inviting to hang out. But the inside is very nice and cozy. Owner was also very friendly and helpful."Guest: DJ Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 7, 2014View listing
"We rented this beautiful home for a group of 12 for a few families. We were absolutely blown away at this luxurious property with too many amenities to even begin to list. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our time. There are incredible mountains views from almost every room in the house. The Kitchen was fabulous, absolutely perfect and the most labeled/organized one I have ever seen so you never had to question where to find anything. I Highly recommend staying there, the owner is wonderful and extremely easy to deal with. We plan on renting it again next summer!! Don't miss your opportunity if you are lucky enough for it to be available!!"Guest: bbrown Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 1, 2014View listing
"We stayed in the Evergreen home the first week of June, and can describe it best in three words. Views, views, and views!! What an impressive property!! We were struck by the stunning view when we climbed the stairs and arrived on the main level living area. Panoramic views of the Evergreen Mountains, as well as a few snowcapped Rockies immediately grab your attention. The seclusion of the property provided a tranquility and quietness hard to describe. So quiet you could hear the footsteps of the deer approaching the property as they walked over to greet the out of towners. The last two mornings we had 3 separate deer walk no more than 20 feet away, as we drank coffee on the back porch. The property itself is right off I-70, which made it very easy to travel to Golden, Denver, and surrounding areas. The drive up the mountain road (and subsequent driveway) was a little jarring the first time due to the height and turns, but by the end of the week we were old pros taking the road. And the views as a result of those roads up made it well worthwhile. Rebecca visited us upon arrival, suggesting things to do in town, and Keith was friendly as we passed him chopping wood a couple times on our way to and from the property. We plan to come back next summer, 2015, and we very much hope this property is still available. Thank you Rebecca and Keith for a wonderful stay!"Guest: Logan H. "I am the type of person who typically does not take the time to leave feedback, however this time is different because it was just that amazing! This was the most amazing place to stay. My family decided to make the Colorado softball trip a vacation as well, and we could not be happier. I have three kids ages 12 (boy), 12 (girl) and 17(girl) and I can honestly say they rate this as their number one vacation spot. My entire family wants to make this an annual vacation spot! Jude and Andy are amazing, and my kids fell in love with Shane. Shane taught them how to corral horses, brush, saddle, etc. and even ride around the absolutely beautiful property. The kids fell in love with the horses; they know each of them by name. The distance between Denver airport, Evergreen, white water rafting, parks, Evergreen lake, downtown Evergreen and many more places was unbelievably close. We enjoyed paddle boarding on Evergreen lake, hiking on trails, ice cream in downtown Evergreen, outdoor band in Evergreen, shopping in Flat Iron, movies in Flat Iron, white water rafting in Idaho Springs, fly fishing, sightseeing, park visits and so much more. To our surprise everything was very close. In addition to all the fun activities we saw all sorts of wildlife and the Elk are AMAZING. I can’t even tell you how many we saw but they were everywhere and they are HUGE. My son even saw a fox that lives just up the hill! This vacation was different than any other vacation we have ever had. We played, we relaxed and most of all we had the time of our life and bonded as a family like we have never before. We didn’t want to leave! We will without a doubt be back! This property absolutely is a five star, and if we could rate it a ten star we would!"Guest: Faith P.
