"I booked the property for myself and a couple friends as a quiet retreat to prepare for my daughters wedding at Chief Hosa Lodge. The grounds are heavily forested and offered the true quiet mountain retreat. The house has an updated full size kitchen with all the appliances and tools you need to cook, BBQ or just chill and relax on the expansive deck with a glass of wine looking into the trees...as we did many evenings. Full size billiard table, several flat screen tv's & DVD players for the enjoyment, nicely appointed bedrooms & baths have the resort feel, bunk beds in 3rd bedroom. Hot tub was awesome in afternoon or evening. House is close to downtown Evergreen offering great food, golf course, biking, hiking, fishing. The owner is friendly and offered lots of suggestions for activities."

""OLD MORRISON JAIL"
We stayed at the "Jail" for two months during December 2014/January 2015 and loved every minute of this home and the fantastic weather.
Ron and Marta were very accommodating during our visit to make everything as pleasant as possible. The home has everything one would need
and plenty of living space to enjoy. We had Christmas here for our sons and families (10 people) and the place comfortably accommodated all.
We loved the small mountain town character and walked to the many local restaurants. We took pleasant daily walks to the post office, along
Bear Creek and climbed the nearby "mini-mountains".
We visited many nearby locations such as: Idaho Springs, Evergreen, Georgetown, Golden, Boulder, Lookout Mountain, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Loveland Ski Resort, the Walker mansion ruins at Mt. Falcon, walked Dinosaur Ridge, Larimer Square, Castle Rock, a Nugget's game and took
the Coor's factory tour along with many other adventures.
Most of our time was spent with family at various family/school activities and enjoying the fabulous weather. A very relaxing way to spend any part of the year in Colorado. Always sunny in Colorado!"

"This property was perfect for our family of 11, from preschool age through teenagers and adults. All of us enjoyed the beautiful, spacious home plus amenities. It's close proximity to I70, Evergreen and Golden was exactly what we needed for our son's wedding week. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. We saw elk on the property and our grandsons enjoyed a hike up the "mountain". All of our family commented that they would enjoy a return trip to this property. Thanks again to the owner for a memorable week! This was so much better than staying in a hotel!"

"Our family stayed in the Cabin and it was the perfect mountain get away. Rebecca and Jeff truly enjoy operating this property. We walled to downtown at night and provided flash light for us. The elk made an special appearance for us and they are HUGE!! Good job!"
