  • Beautiful vacation home!

"Our family stayed at this beautiful home during the week of New Years and had a wonderful time! The home had everything we needed and the owners even had a decorated christmas tree up for us. We enjoyed sledding outside in the yard, skiing nearby and tons of other amenities very close by. The home had a TV in every room, games to play, books to read and movies to watch, all thanks to the gracious owners who were so kind. We look forward to renting again in the future! Christine M."

  • Excellent stay!

"We stayed here for a long weekend when we came to the area for a wedding. The pictures definitely don't do this place justice. I was a little worried when I booked it based on the lack of reviews, but was very pleased with the property. It was great for myself, my uncle, and great for my 94 yo grandmother. We loved this place and would recommend it highly!"

  • Great Retreat

"We booked this property for the specific reason of getting away and it did not fail to meet our needs. We spent three nights basically doing nothing, watching the snow fall and the beautiful views of the mountains and wildlife. We would certainly considering going back. We went in winter and cannot emphasize enough the need for a 4 wheel drive vehicle- it was a must getting to the cabin. However, even though it cost more to rent one than another type of car, we were directed to excellent rental car options by the owner and frankly, having to utilize a 4x4 to get there made the place feel even more secluded. We were very comfortable there because our objective was relaxation. It was exactly what we were looking for- however if I was looking for a high energy adventure trip this would not be the place.....and that's a compliment to the cabin. Evergreen, CO was about 20-30 min away (in snow, likely shorter in summer) and it's a quaint, lovely town. Check out Creekside Cellars for a more upscale lunch and great wine or for a wonderful quick meal in a place full of locals, check out Wildflower Cafe. Michael, the owner, greeted us there promptly and was available by phone for questions and recommendations - very friendly. We would highly recommend this place for a couple to relax and unwind. Excellent wifi. Adequate kitchenette with all appliances available. You are asked to clean up after yourself with a list of instructions made available- we didn't mind. Much thanks to Michael for plowing the road after the big snowfall!"

  • Beyond my expectations!

"We visited before the holidays for a family getaway and were blown away by the beauty of this property and the beautiful Christmas decorations and lights! It truly represented Colorado living at its best! My sons really enjoyed the kids' room with a video arcade and boardgames while my husband loved the pool table. I got the chance to relax in the hottub and later visited the Aveda spa, Tall Grass, just up the street. The kitchen was well equiped to make any meal and the amenities throughout the house were fabulous. We even fed the horses apples and carrots! The town of Evergreen was quaint and fun for all of us to explore. We plan to come back in the summer to mountain bike and enjoy paddle-boating on Evergreen Lake!"
