  • Charming Rental

"This was a wonderful rental. The location was absolutely perfect for four people and the outside of the cottage was stunning. One of the prettiest in Ft. Collins! It is easily within walking distance to downtown and even if you don’t want to walk the few blocks, public transportation is easily available. Or there are two bikes available in the garage for your use. We were absolutely delighted by the accommodations. Perfect size, perfect location, and spotlessly clean. You won’t be disappointed."

  • Perfect for a large group

"We have stayed in Estes Park before, but this was the most confortable stay we have ever had. We had 8 adults on this trip and the propery was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped, which was great as we were preparing a holiday meal. We took side trips to RMNP, attended the "Catch the Glow" Christmas parade. We were able to see elk grazing on the golf course, a moose in RMNP and big horn sheep. It was great to have room to spread out with the 2 living areas, but have space to come together for games and family time. It was alittle too windy and cold to spend much time outside, but enjoyed a few short walks. The only issue we noticed, was due to the wind, the one door did not seal well at the threshold and there was a lot of cold air coming in."

  • A little piece of Heaven on Earth

"Coming from the hot desert we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The cabin, the forest, the mountains, the pond, the rain, the view from the porch and the quite and peaceful location confabulated to make our stay a one of a kind experience for my family and myself. We found the cabin very comfortable, clean and neat. The porch has an amazing view toward the mountains and the forest and it's actually bigger than it looks in the the pictures. In many ways it exceeded our expectations. We were kind of hesitant in the beginning because of the 15-20 min drive to Estes Park and to RMNP, but actually it turned out to be such a nice and short drive. Nothing like coming back from a long hike to a quite and secluded place. Our kids just loved it running and playing freely around the cabin, and coming and going to the pond. Our first morning while sitting on a rock by the pond we were lucky enough to see a moose and her two calves coming out of the bushes to drink water for 15 minutes. Quite an experience for our 4 year old son and his 7 year old sister, something I'm sure they won't forget easily. Our stay couldn't be the same without the help and assistance we received from the owner, Cristyn. From the beginning Cristyn was always there for us. She is simply the best. With great regret we had to go, but not without the whole family asking "when are we going to come back?" We will surely be back. We found ourselves a little piece of heaven."

Front Range Travel Tips

Colorado’s Front Range, a Great Vacation Destination

The "Front Range" is a colloquial term for the area located just east of the foothills of the Front Range. It covers the areas of Boulder, Black Hawk, Central City, Clear Creek County, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Longmont, Loveland and Nederland. Situated less than an hour’s drive from Denver and its major airport, you will find yourself in the foothills of the Front Range Mountains. Average temperatures here are in the mid-20s Fahrenheit in winter to the high-80s Fahrenheit in summer.

Getting around this beautiful area could not be easier. Good interstate and main highways make accessing each of the wonderful cities and towns simple and convenient. In fact, there are more scenic and historic drives within easy distance of our Front Range vacation homes than any other state in the country.

An Ideal Outdoor Experience for the Whole Family

For a vacation where outdoor activities and sight-seeing are high on your "to do" list, you will be delighted with a Front Range lodging. Wherever you choose as a base your vacation, you will find plenty to do and see. It is said that the Front Range inspired the words for "America the Beautiful" and once here, you will understand why. To see the panorama that inspired these words, take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. On the trip, you will pass by some of the oldest living things on earth--the bristlecone pines. Some of which are over 2,000 years old! Give the kids a taste of farm life by visiting a real working farm. Or visit the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands for 1.5 million acres of wilderness with activities like horse riding, hiking and biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter.

For less active day trips, there are a variety of wonderful drives. The Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway will not only provide glorious views, it is also one of the best places to catch sight of the local bighorn sheep. The historic Lariet Loop encompasses the stunning Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the town of Golden--famous for the Coors Brewery--and the sight of the grave of Wild Bill Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill. In Central City, the Victorian age opera house is worth a visit along with the historic Moffat Tunnel. A detour will take you to the ghost towns of Hesse and Apex.

The Majesty of the Mountains

If truly spectacular scenery is a must for your perfect destination, the obvious place to find view after amazing view is the Rocky Mountains. Winter here brings world-famous skiing and the fun continues throughout the year. Whether you want to ride a horse or a bike or just hike, there are an abundance of trails to explore, from easy to death-defying! Just imagine choosing one of our Front Range vacation rentals with the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop!

Pick a Vacation Home on the Front Range

The main reasons why vacationers choose our Front Range vacation homes are convenience, space and choice. We have a wide variety homes in whatever location best suits you, with as much space as you desire. Each home is equipped with everything needed to make the perfect vacation. Property owners are often available to assist with any last minute queries and recommendations. Whether you are a couple, family or large group of friends, there will be a perfect property for your needs. Whether you want a city base or a rural retreat, you will find an ideal home here. What better way to relax after an adventurous day than to return to a comfortable, well-equipped home!
