  • Cozy and immaculately clean!

"This cozy little cabin was perfect! Alex has done an excellent job in remodeling this cabin with very efficient use of space and it was clean as a whistle when we arrived. It's conveniently located between the downtown area of Estes Park and the beautiful Rocky Mountain NP so whether you want to hike the trails or check the sales you're never far from home. The kitchen is well-equipped with all you need for cooking and the washer/dryer is certainly a bonus if you want to pack lightly. It was nice too having breakfast and watching the birds on the feeder outside the window. The Big Thompson river is across the lawn and has chairs set up so you can enjoy the beauty of the river. Plenty of little touches like that made it feel like home. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and there are fans in the closets if you like to sleep with a fan on. My husband and I stayed here for eight nights and we couldn't have been more pleased or felt more at home and Alex was prompt and professional with all correspondence. I would certainly recommend this cabin and hope to return another time!"

  • Always the best!

"We have rented from Mountainview a few other times at other properties and every time we have to remark how beautiful and luxurious the homes/condos are throughout. There is not a detail missed in any of their properties. This condo on the golf course was no exception. It is clean and very well laid out. We were so comfortable there. Our oldest son remarked that it is the most beautiful bathroom he has ever seen. The location is great, especially if you are a golfer. From the kitchen sink to the granite countertops in each of the bathrooms. There are remote controls for the ceiling fans and undercabinet lighting in the bathrooms which is great if you wake up in the middle of the night. The deck overlooks the golf course and there is plenty of room to sit outside and read or enjoy the mountain views. Although our kids aren't little anymore, if you have small children there is already a playpen and some helpful items for little ones. There are also some games and puzzles to keep everyone busy if you have downtime. The kitchen is fully stocked and I couldn't think of anything that we needed and didn't have while we were there. There is also a grill on the deck if you are making dinner at home. Michele is always a pleasure to rent from and I am always confident about the quality of the home."

  • A little piece of paradise.

"My sister boyfriend and I enjoyed spending time at this property this past weekend. There are so many positive things about this property I hardly know where to start. To begin with the website certainly does not do this property justice. Honestly, you have to see it up close and personal. It was stocked with everything we wanted or needed. Our french toast cooked perfectly on the griddle provided by the owner. Seriously, the kitchen was stocked with so many items. Plenty of DRY firewood in the garage. Nice linens throughout. The beds were very comfortable. Even though the living room was beautiful and welcoming, we spent most to our time at the dining room table, playing games and enjoying the beautiful view. We got an unexpected visit from 9 wild turkeys as they were passing by. We saw 3 elk by the road. The three of us felt like we were in a mountain paradise. I am already planning our next visit which will be very soon I'm sure."

  • Awesome family vacation!

"Just returned home from an awesome family vacation at Star Peak. To be honest ... I was very sadden to leave the incredible views and the friendliness of Nederland. Star Peak is a beautiful place for a large family, the accommodations are comfortable and there is plenty of room for extra bedding (all provided). The master bedroom was beautiful and had a very authentic mountain home feel. We all loved the hot tub and couldn't wait to return from hiking to relax in the bubbling hot tub while grilling steaks on the grill. Overall, loved loved loved our stay and cannot wait to turn to Nederland. Property manager is very helpful and answered ALL my questions in a very timely manner. Would definitely rent any property from him again and will recommend him to family and friends."

Front Range Travel Tips

Colorado’s Front Range, a Great Vacation Destination

The "Front Range" is a colloquial term for the area located just east of the foothills of the Front Range. It covers the areas of Boulder, Black Hawk, Central City, Clear Creek County, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Longmont, Loveland and Nederland. Situated less than an hour’s drive from Denver and its major airport, you will find yourself in the foothills of the Front Range Mountains. Average temperatures here are in the mid-20s Fahrenheit in winter to the high-80s Fahrenheit in summer.

Getting around this beautiful area could not be easier. Good interstate and main highways make accessing each of the wonderful cities and towns simple and convenient. In fact, there are more scenic and historic drives within easy distance of our Front Range vacation homes than any other state in the country.

An Ideal Outdoor Experience for the Whole Family

For a vacation where outdoor activities and sight-seeing are high on your "to do" list, you will be delighted with a Front Range lodging. Wherever you choose as a base your vacation, you will find plenty to do and see. It is said that the Front Range inspired the words for "America the Beautiful" and once here, you will understand why. To see the panorama that inspired these words, take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. On the trip, you will pass by some of the oldest living things on earth--the bristlecone pines. Some of which are over 2,000 years old! Give the kids a taste of farm life by visiting a real working farm. Or visit the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands for 1.5 million acres of wilderness with activities like horse riding, hiking and biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter.

For less active day trips, there are a variety of wonderful drives. The Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway will not only provide glorious views, it is also one of the best places to catch sight of the local bighorn sheep. The historic Lariet Loop encompasses the stunning Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the town of Golden--famous for the Coors Brewery--and the sight of the grave of Wild Bill Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill. In Central City, the Victorian age opera house is worth a visit along with the historic Moffat Tunnel. A detour will take you to the ghost towns of Hesse and Apex.

The Majesty of the Mountains

If truly spectacular scenery is a must for your perfect destination, the obvious place to find view after amazing view is the Rocky Mountains. Winter here brings world-famous skiing and the fun continues throughout the year. Whether you want to ride a horse or a bike or just hike, there are an abundance of trails to explore, from easy to death-defying! Just imagine choosing one of our Front Range vacation rentals with the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop!

Pick a Vacation Home on the Front Range

The main reasons why vacationers choose our Front Range vacation homes are convenience, space and choice. We have a wide variety homes in whatever location best suits you, with as much space as you desire. Each home is equipped with everything needed to make the perfect vacation. Property owners are often available to assist with any last minute queries and recommendations. Whether you are a couple, family or large group of friends, there will be a perfect property for your needs. Whether you want a city base or a rural retreat, you will find an ideal home here. What better way to relax after an adventurous day than to return to a comfortable, well-equipped home!
