  • Perfect place for active people

"This is an unique cabin located in a very quiet place; perfect for everybody who loves outside activities. Hiking trails start just "from a cabin". Dogs are allowed on trails. Close to this town, other historical places are good to see. Although in the town, there are not too many attractions, its geographical location makes itself very attractive. Owner is pet friendly and cares about. his guests. I would recommend this cabin for parents with teenagers, pet owners and adventure seekers."

  • A Winner!

"This was our first trip to Estes Park for our family vacation. I had no idea where the property was actually located except that it was on the Big Thompson River. We found the location to be excellent. It felt so secluded and from the house you couldn't see anything but the river, beautiful trees, a meadow full of elk and mountains in RMNP. However, everything the town had to offer was minutes away! The home was so big and comfortable with everything we needed for a delightful stay. The backyard area had steps down to the river with two benches at the river's edge. The elk may not always be in the same place but one day there were about 30 across the river. Amazing! I know I always worry that a property that I want to rent may not be as nice as it sounds. Let me tell you with utmost sincerity, that this property is as wonderful as it sounds. Do not hesitate to go for it!! You will have a very memorable time in a wonderful home in a delightful area of Colorado!"

  • Perfect for us!

"We use VRBO for our travels whenever possible. Owners and homes vary across the board. We've never had a bad experience. This home in Boulder turned out to be perfect for our needs of the week. Like a couple of others whose reviews are listed, we needed a "grand central" spot during our daughter's wedding week--a place where friends and relatives could drop in for coffee or a glass of wine. The first thing we heard from every visitor was: "Wow!" The home is beautifully built, very well appointed, and first class. The entry is awesome. An uncle from Boston suggested we all buy it to have a place to stay in Boulder. The seating and beds throughout worked perfectly for our handful of nightly guests and for those who visited. There's ample--more than ample room, closets, bathrooms, storage, you name it. Plenty of towels, but plan a trip to replenish paper supplies, etc. The kitchen was perfect as a common gathering place, as was the outdoor deck, the front room, and everywhere else. My husband cooked for the rehearsal dinner, and had plenty of space, platters, and great appliances. The nice part was all of the nooks in which people could sit and visit, take a nap, or read a book. And when we closed the door to the master, we enjoyed a quiet, private oasis. We tend to be very picky. In a home where no one is currently living, like many VRBO homes we use, sometimes the little things need attention. The owner was very responsive to our questions about the house during the week, and during our rental conversations in advance. Even the contractors remodeling two houses next door were quiet, respectful, and kept their "noise" to few daytime hours. We weren't disturbed at all. I highly recommend this home if you need a central, large location in Boulder. This home is worth the money, worked well, and we were very happy with our choice."

  • Family vacation

"We had a wonderful stay in this home. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. We have 6 kids and it was perfect for our family. We spent a lot of time hiking and the location is very close to the entrance of RMNP. The yard was perfect. We had s'mores every night. We ate in all meals except for one. We went to Ed's Cantina for dinner one night. We have gluten sensitivities in our family and they had a wonderful GF menu. We would definitely stay in this home again!"

Front Range Travel Tips

Colorado’s Front Range, a Great Vacation Destination

The "Front Range" is a colloquial term for the area located just east of the foothills of the Front Range. It covers the areas of Boulder, Black Hawk, Central City, Clear Creek County, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Longmont, Loveland and Nederland. Situated less than an hour’s drive from Denver and its major airport, you will find yourself in the foothills of the Front Range Mountains. Average temperatures here are in the mid-20s Fahrenheit in winter to the high-80s Fahrenheit in summer.

Getting around this beautiful area could not be easier. Good interstate and main highways make accessing each of the wonderful cities and towns simple and convenient. In fact, there are more scenic and historic drives within easy distance of our Front Range vacation homes than any other state in the country.

An Ideal Outdoor Experience for the Whole Family

For a vacation where outdoor activities and sight-seeing are high on your "to do" list, you will be delighted with a Front Range lodging. Wherever you choose as a base your vacation, you will find plenty to do and see. It is said that the Front Range inspired the words for "America the Beautiful" and once here, you will understand why. To see the panorama that inspired these words, take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. On the trip, you will pass by some of the oldest living things on earth--the bristlecone pines. Some of which are over 2,000 years old! Give the kids a taste of farm life by visiting a real working farm. Or visit the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands for 1.5 million acres of wilderness with activities like horse riding, hiking and biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter.

For less active day trips, there are a variety of wonderful drives. The Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway will not only provide glorious views, it is also one of the best places to catch sight of the local bighorn sheep. The historic Lariet Loop encompasses the stunning Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the town of Golden--famous for the Coors Brewery--and the sight of the grave of Wild Bill Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill. In Central City, the Victorian age opera house is worth a visit along with the historic Moffat Tunnel. A detour will take you to the ghost towns of Hesse and Apex.

The Majesty of the Mountains

If truly spectacular scenery is a must for your perfect destination, the obvious place to find view after amazing view is the Rocky Mountains. Winter here brings world-famous skiing and the fun continues throughout the year. Whether you want to ride a horse or a bike or just hike, there are an abundance of trails to explore, from easy to death-defying! Just imagine choosing one of our Front Range vacation rentals with the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop!

Pick a Vacation Home on the Front Range

The main reasons why vacationers choose our Front Range vacation homes are convenience, space and choice. We have a wide variety homes in whatever location best suits you, with as much space as you desire. Each home is equipped with everything needed to make the perfect vacation. Property owners are often available to assist with any last minute queries and recommendations. Whether you are a couple, family or large group of friends, there will be a perfect property for your needs. Whether you want a city base or a rural retreat, you will find an ideal home here. What better way to relax after an adventurous day than to return to a comfortable, well-equipped home!
