  • Great Location and Everything you need

"My grandson who plays football for CU wanted a Thanksgiving family dinner. So we rented this condo and it was perfect. His mom and her boyfriend and step dad flew in from NY and I flew in from California. Very well supplied and the water and wine in the fridge was a delightful surprise. The condo is great for families with kids, lots of toys and baby equipment. The upstairs and down stairs rooms were very roomy and 2 full bath rooms which was my requirement. Loved the WIFI and the office ( even though we did not use it) and the brand new couch which was very comfy watching the Thanksgiving Football games. Owners were quick to respond to email. Diane thank you for sharing your home it was perfect. Will definitely stay here again."

  • Christmas week

"My husband and I stayed at the carriage house during Christmas week. We were visiting my daughter. It was very clean, comfortable and accessible to shopping. We walked to Trader Joe's and whole foods. I cooked dinner on Christmas Eve for us and had plenty of cookware for an entire Italian dinner. We left on Christmas morning for skiing in Vail and returned the next day. We spent time at a local trail snowshoeing on another morning. I would definitely stay here again. It is clean and modern."

  • Wonderful cabin for family get-away

"My wife and I took our family here. We have 3 young kids. The house itself is wonderful. Spacious, a nice kitchen, and the upstairs is really nice. The house was very well stocked with supplies, both in the kitchen and elsewhere. We enjoyed fires in the wood-burning stove, and we really enjoyed the wrap-around deck with gates. There were constantly humming birds at the feeders. The creek was also fun behind the property. Because the area is dense with vegetation and wildlife, we kept kids close because you can't see the creek from the house. There is plenty to do very nearby. Saint Mary's Glacier is very close by, and definitely worth the hike. We had no problem filling our 7 day vacation and wished we could fit more in. We really enjoyed driving the route that takes you northwest to Rocky Mountain National Park. We are from the flat midwest, so driving the mountain road you take up to the house took some getting used to. We did deal with some car and altitude sickness, because the house is really at over 10,000 feet. The drive from the highway up the mountain is about 20 minutes. This isn't a complaint, just an fyi to others, especially parents of young kids. Overall a great experience and highly recommended."

  • What a gem!

"What a great way to spend a long deserved weekend! We had 4 adults, a 3 year old, and a 2 year old and our stay could not have been better! Every detail was thought out and every one of us was more than comfortable! Between the river mere steps outside the door, a connected spa (offering incredible massages!), and a beautiful and bustling town within walking distance, this trip was better than we could have imagined!"

Front Range Travel Tips

Colorado’s Front Range, a Great Vacation Destination

The "Front Range" is a colloquial term for the area located just east of the foothills of the Front Range. It covers the areas of Boulder, Black Hawk, Central City, Clear Creek County, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Longmont, Loveland and Nederland. Situated less than an hour’s drive from Denver and its major airport, you will find yourself in the foothills of the Front Range Mountains. Average temperatures here are in the mid-20s Fahrenheit in winter to the high-80s Fahrenheit in summer.

Getting around this beautiful area could not be easier. Good interstate and main highways make accessing each of the wonderful cities and towns simple and convenient. In fact, there are more scenic and historic drives within easy distance of our Front Range vacation homes than any other state in the country.

An Ideal Outdoor Experience for the Whole Family

For a vacation where outdoor activities and sight-seeing are high on your "to do" list, you will be delighted with a Front Range lodging. Wherever you choose as a base your vacation, you will find plenty to do and see. It is said that the Front Range inspired the words for "America the Beautiful" and once here, you will understand why. To see the panorama that inspired these words, take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. On the trip, you will pass by some of the oldest living things on earth--the bristlecone pines. Some of which are over 2,000 years old! Give the kids a taste of farm life by visiting a real working farm. Or visit the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands for 1.5 million acres of wilderness with activities like horse riding, hiking and biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter.

For less active day trips, there are a variety of wonderful drives. The Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway will not only provide glorious views, it is also one of the best places to catch sight of the local bighorn sheep. The historic Lariet Loop encompasses the stunning Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the town of Golden--famous for the Coors Brewery--and the sight of the grave of Wild Bill Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill. In Central City, the Victorian age opera house is worth a visit along with the historic Moffat Tunnel. A detour will take you to the ghost towns of Hesse and Apex.

The Majesty of the Mountains

If truly spectacular scenery is a must for your perfect destination, the obvious place to find view after amazing view is the Rocky Mountains. Winter here brings world-famous skiing and the fun continues throughout the year. Whether you want to ride a horse or a bike or just hike, there are an abundance of trails to explore, from easy to death-defying! Just imagine choosing one of our Front Range vacation rentals with the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop!

Pick a Vacation Home on the Front Range

The main reasons why vacationers choose our Front Range vacation homes are convenience, space and choice. We have a wide variety homes in whatever location best suits you, with as much space as you desire. Each home is equipped with everything needed to make the perfect vacation. Property owners are often available to assist with any last minute queries and recommendations. Whether you are a couple, family or large group of friends, there will be a perfect property for your needs. Whether you want a city base or a rural retreat, you will find an ideal home here. What better way to relax after an adventurous day than to return to a comfortable, well-equipped home!
