  • Great house for family reunion

"My extended family of 12 rented the home for 4 nights in late July. It was perfect for us. We used the grill once and otherwise cooked most meals in the spacious kitchen, which had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the 3 1/2 baths. What we liked most about the house were the scenic trails close-by. Numerous deer strolled through the area everyday. It was close enough to town, RMNP and various restaurants and activities. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The owner was nice to work with."

  • Excellent Stay

"This is a terrific cabin in a fairly secluded area of Estes Park. When I was looking for cabins to stay at in Estes, it was difficult to find one that didn't have other cabins practically on top of one another. This one is off a distance from other homes and the view is AMAZING! The cabin is clean, well stocked, and so cozy. The beds are of supreme quality, there are two decks to enjoy the outdoors, and there is also Roku and WiFi for those who can't leave home without their technology! It rained several days during our stay and we had absolutely no objections to staying indoors, making a fire, and chilling out with one of the games/books at the cabin. The owner was extremely helpful and available with anything we needed. We received our deposit back almost immediately. Would DEFINITELY stay here again if returning to Estes."

  • Fall Family Getaway

"We chose this home because we had been to the Ceran St.Vrain trailhead before and knew how lovely the area is. In the summer, the trail is a great retreat from the hot sun. There is an area right at the start of the trailhead that kids will slide along the smooth rocks of the river and splash in the pools of water- water can be cold, but the surrounding rocks warm you up! The trail itself is a mostly shaded, easy to moderate, walk along the river/creek. Fishing is good, we caught several small, brown trout. Bikes are welcome on the trail, but rock and tree roots make for a very technical ride. We wanted to have a getaway in the mountains to experience the fall colors, and the beauty exceeded our expectations. With the Peak to Peak Highway minutes away, this was a great location to explore from Nederland to Estes and everywhere in between. The home was spacious and comfortable for our family of 9. Game night around the table, or charades in the main room, fit us all perfectly. However, the bed situation was a bit difficult- only 2 bedrooms. The third bedroom is also the laundry room. There is only one, comfortable queen bed, and if you have more than one couple, it may be a let down. The second queen is a couch, pull-out with a super thin, uncomfortable mattress. All other beds are twin. A couple of the kids slept outside, and loved it! Without a neighbor in sight, you feel very private and secluded. The hot tub was a highlight. Super relaxing after the hikes, drives and bike rides! Drinking water was delicious, even right out of the tap. We brought bottled water, but ended up bringing it back. Made a fire both outside and inside - but had no matches at the home, so we were creative in getting the fires lit. The fires warmed us up in the crisp fall air! We are already dreaming of the next visit! Note: Before we arrived, we were a bit hesitant, because 3 days before arrival we had not been contacted by either the owner or the property manager regarding our stay. We had our confirmation email and house rules, but no verbal contact had been made. We had to make that first call. It just made us not feel secure in what the weekend would hold when we would arrive. But, we did get a hold of the owner. He was delightful to speak with, and our stay was wonderful."

  • Family Vacation

"Two families stayed in this beautiful house for a week. Everything in the description was exactly what was shown and some. The property was clean and well-maintained. We all had such a great time. One night we caught trout from the river and ate them for dinner. We traveled on Trail Bridge Road one day which was a wonderful experience as well as 4wheeling in the Rocky Mountains and horseback riding. We had such a memorable time in Estes Park and at this home."
