  • Highland Festival Weekend

"We rented the home for Friday and Saturday night during the Estes Park Highland Festival. The house is very nice, well laid out, and completely comfortable for the 8 adults and 2 children in our family. There are two king bedrooms with attached baths on the first floor, one king bedroom, a bedroom with twin beds, an open area with one bed, and a bathroom on the second floor, and one king bedroom with attached bath in the basement. There is also a large rec room in the basement with a flat screen TV, gas Franklin stove, ping pong, and foosball. The kitchen is well laid out and equipped, and the living room has a big screen 3D TV, and gas Franklin stove. The area is very quiet, about two miles outside of Estes Park. All in all a very nice place to stay."

  • Fantastic home, and even better vews!

"We stayed in this beautiful home in Estes Park the last week in July. We have stayed in many different homes in Estes and this one was by far our favorite. The place exceeded our expectations! The home is much newer than you find in most places in Estes Park and the location close to town was great. We walked to dinner every night and most mornings for coffee. It is a little up the hill from town (about a 5 min stroll), but hardly noticeable compared to the hiking trails in RMNP. And the hill is what provides the fantastic views from the back deck of Longs Peak. These were truly amazing. We also were pleased with how well the house was decorated with the many mountain home furnishings. Much nicer than the recycled furnishings you see in some rentals. The kids loved the pool table, and we loved how close it was to everything (safeway, restaurants, all the different national park entrances, etc). We will definitely be back as soon as we can. The owners were very nice to work as well and were very responsive to questions."

  • This place is magical!

"Our vacation stay was magical. We saw a double rainbow the first day there. The wild turkeys walked through the property in the mornings.. The King Sized Bed upstairs has 2 trundle beds that pull out. Our grand kids stayed in the loft, and loved it. We sat on the front porch in the mornings and had coffee. We ate outside at the glass table for lunch, and the gas grill or charcoal grill were fired up each night. The weather was nice. We pulled the front window shades during the day, and we slept with the windows open each night, with fresh mountain air. We hiked up the mountain each day, to the cross on Mount Prospect. A good way to start the day! This cabin has all the kitchen utensils, and fresh towels and linens. We felt like we were at home. Rocky Mountain National Park, The Haunted Tour at the Stanley Hotel, and catching fish at Trout Haven were all part of the fun. Eating those fresh trout was a treat. Our biggest surprise was the Estes Park Fire Work display for the 4th of July. We could see the whole show from the front porch. It was spectacular! We will come back again!"

  • 50th Wedding Anniversary

"We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in July with our family of 18 at the Moak Lodge. We had a wonderful time and there was plenty of room for all of us. The facilities at the lodge were great and so was the view of the mountains. The dishwasher and the outdoor grill were used a lot. The trampoline was enjoyed by many along with the swings and the children loved seeing the horses. We had deer and elk in our yard many times during out visit. Our grandchildren ranged in ages from 15 to 3 and they all want to return. Linda was easy to work with and we would highly recommend the lodge."
