  • Beautiful, cozy, cabin!

"This was wonderful! 3 couples stayed here for the weekend of the Slacker 1/2 marathon in Georgetown. It was perfect. Front porch, back deck, creek in front, hiking trail in back. Inside was very clean and had all the conveniences of home. The master bed was divine! Can't wait to book it for next year!!!!"

  • Relaxation at its finest!

"The cabin and surrounding area was everything we had hoped for and more! I thought I would die without cell/internet/tv, but I actually dreaded going into town and my phone beeping with messages. If I had not left children back at home, I may not have turned it on at all. The cabin is beautiful, the amenities are perfect, sitting out by the creek, or laying in the hammock. I recommend it to anyone who just needs to get away from it all. It was a perfect location, so many things to do within a few short miles."

  • Larry

"We stayed here for two nights. There were 8 of us who made the trip to hike Mt. Evans. The house was great. There was plenty of room for all to sleep and we really enjoyed hanging out on the front yard patio next to the creek. Idaho Springs is a neat little town with good restaurants (Beau Jo's Pizza was excellent) and a couple of places that offer turn key white water rafting excursions. Highly recommend."

  • What a Pleasant Surprise!

"We stayed in the cottage for almost a full week and found it to be even better than expected. It's cute, comfortable, and quiet and is situated in a quaint little town that affords quick access to many biking and hiking trails. We would definitely stay there again!"

Idaho Springs Travel Tips

Idaho Springs Vacation Rentals Are New and Original

Vacationing has become such a big industry than it feels more like a people-mill than a ritual for renewing life, both within ourselves and our closest relationships. Tacky bars and endless souvenir shops selling the same junk seem to be planted in every tourist trap—and trap you they do. Being shuffled around, hot, sticky, and crowded next to strangers as though you're only a number is not the way to treat yourself and your loved ones. But because you are only a number to most vacation plans, you will inevitably be treated that way. If you want a new kind of vacation, one that has more to offer than all of the other unoriginal destinations, you do not want to over-look Idaho Springs, Colorado. It is a beautiful, small town nestled in the Rocky Mountains and only about 30 miles away from the vibrant and unique city of Denver!

Idaho Springs Is an Idyllic Destination

Idaho Springs, Colorado began as a gold rush mining town and you can see the historical influence of the town's founding period. The streets are lined just as it looked back in the time of the gold rush, with picturesque shops all in a row; beautifully maintained and tastefully updated. The gorgeous Rocky Mountains surge upward behind the buildings, creating a perfectly composed view wherever you stand (great for pictures with loved ones). Being so close to Denver, you also have the exciting options that Denver has to offer as well.
