  • Great anniversary celebration and reunion

"Our children arranged for this vacation with the owner, and 17 family members arrived to help my husband and me celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. Our children are from Nebraska, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, and grandchildren are from California, Texas, Washington, DC, and Georgia. Two great grandchildren were there, too. It was a perfect family reunion, and several grandchildren had never met. The Great Room provided space for everyone to eat, watch TV, and play games. The balcony was our favorite place to stay. We love your website and copied some of the photographs. The family insisted that we have the master suite, and we felt like royalty - such elegant bedding and linens. Everyone had a comfortable bed, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need to prepare several meals. Everything was in perfect condition, and we found whatever we needed by pulling out a drawer or opening a cabinet door. We went to Rocky Mountain National Park several times and enjoyed hiking for many miles. The downtown area was fun for shoppers and geocachers. Elk were at the wildlife viewing area at the park and in the back and side yards of the home. They were favorites of all the photographers. We saw a perfect rainbow late one afternoon and photographed it. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing some of the games. Our family members all live a long ways from Estes Park, but I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is heading in that direction. It was a fantastic vacation for four generations."

  • A wonderful house

"We recently stayed at this wonderful house for a small family reunion and it turned out to be the perfect place for us. First of all, the house itself is gorgeous, and the four spacious bedrooms were just what we needed. Second, the location couldn't be better, convenient to the center of Estes Park but away from the busyness of the town, surrounded by beautiful trees and literally at the foot of a small mountain. With two baths, a large living room with comfortable sofas, and a fine kitchen and dining room, it had all that we needed for five nights in the beautiful Rockies."

  • If I could give it a 6th star, I would

"My family and I had a wonderful week at Jay's place in downtown Boulder. I won't get into how wonderful Boulder is, b/c if you're reading these reviews you should already be familiar. But, Jay's place is a wonderful place in a great part of Boulder. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, and you're only a couple of blocks (re: very short walk) away from Pearl Street. My family and I walked down to Pearl Street daily. Jay was very friendly and amazingly easy to deal with during the rental process. I didn't have any doubt that if we needed anything, he could make it work: he even managed to swing us a pack-and-play for our second youngster. The views from the house are amazing, and the house was immaculate and cozy and contemporary all at the same time. We had an amazing time, and if/when we go back to Boulder again (go Buffs), we're definitely going to look here before anywhere else."

  • Gorgeous Views

"The house was beautiful, comfortable, with outstanding views. The kitchen was fully equipped and had so many amenities. We cooked out almost every night because we could enjoy the best views in town. The only complaint we had was this house is advertised as a 4 bathroom. It actually has 3 1/2 baths. It didn't cause a hardship but was the only disappointing aspect of this beautiful vacation home. Would love to stay there again."
