"The Bear's Lair is an excellent place to rent for a fabulous vacation. The layout of the house makes it great for multigenerational groups. Most of the bedrooms lay away from the main area to give privacy and quiet. Then the 2 living areas are right above each other in the 2 floor house to give an area for different activities but keep you away from ones trying to sleep in or go to bed earlier than others. We enjoyed the openness of the kitchen and living room area. With 5 children ages 4 or below it made a great area to let children play while cooking or playing games at the table. The second living area gave the older children room to watch movies or play pool, etc. The area is a great area to travel just a bit and enjoy many mountain activities such as white-water rafting, hiking, tours of gold mines and picnicking while being close enough to Golden and Denver to be able to go to the zoo and amusement park. Just a few of the many activities our group were able to enjoy doing."

  • RMNP Vacation

"We very much enjoyed our week long stay at the cabin with our 3 year old son and dog. The cabin is secluded, without close neighbors, and is a ways off the beaten path which is exactly what we were looking for. The cabin had everything we needed (fully stocked kitchen) and it was very quiet. The view from the deck and hot tub are beautiful. We saw elk numerous times grazing in the field and hillside near the deck. We will definitely recommend the property to our friends and family."

  • The perfect mountain get-away!

"I can't say enough good things about our stay in Georgetown. From the moment we expressed interest in the house, Tim was providing us with all sorts of information about things to do in the area and helpful tidbits. The house was so clean and the views were to die for. Although the house allows dogs, you'd never know it. It was spic-and-span and smelled like fresh mountain air. The welcome note, along with snacks and a water-stocked fridge to fend off altitude sickness, were so thoughtful! Plenty of room for the 6 adults that went, and could easily have held more. Thanks for everything, Tim! We'll definitely be staying with you again!"

  • Cozy Trail Ridge Cabin

"We spent almost 2 weeks at ths amazing cabin. It was everything we had hoped for. It was spotless and had everything we needed or wanted. We liked that we could open the bedroom window at night and hear the Big Thompson. Some had mentioned how close it was to other units. It was not a problem at all. It is nice and quiet. Alex was wonderful to work with and I would definitely recommend this cabin and would definitely stay again!"
