"We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We spent our days jeeping in the mountains so it was amazing to sit on the huge deck at night, relax, gaze at the sky filled with stars and listen to the river running nearby. The location is secluded (which we loved) but close enough to get any necessities. We look forward to returning."

"We came to town for a family wedding and stayed to enjoy the peaceful beauty of this wonderful cottage. The owner Jane has thought of everything. She has spared no expense in remodeling -- solid wood doors, new bathrooms, jet tub, tiles and glass. The beds are comfortable and luxurious. The views from the wrap around deck are breathtaking. Although it rained several days during our stay, we were happy to hunker down in the well-appointed living room with beautiful views... and a big screen TV. The house is 10 minutes from the center of town, great restaurants and grocery stores. It is also 10 minutes from the Beaver Meadow entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. All in all, Estes Valley Cottage is beautifully appointed and cozy, nestled in a quiet residential community close to everything that Estes Park has to offer. We highly recommend this property to any visitor to Estes Park. We hope to return again soon!"

Nice, well located apartment, great for folks who don't mind the summer heat
"This second story apartment met nearly every need for my husband and I who chose to visit Boulder in the summer to hike in the area. The kitchen was well equipped, for a mini-kitchen, and the bathroom was large enough to not bump into each other there, and the bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was charming and felt very safe, it was an easy walk to restaurants, shops and even the foothills for hiking. The management was kind and tried to be helpful in almost every regard. The one negative, for which I took away a star, is that the place only had one window air conditioner, which was inadequate on the numerous 90+ degree summer days in late June, considering it's an older, not-well-insulated attic apartment. We came from the East coast and are familiar with hot days.. but the heat was so oppressive, that we had to go to Starbucks to cool off during the day (between 3 and 9 was the worst time), when the single bedroom AC unit could not keep up. We bought a thermometer during our stay to quantify the extent of the problem, and several days it was over 90 in the house at dinner time, even with AC running.... It's supposed to cool off at night as temps drop, but even with all the screened windows open, it wasn't cool enough (to us, 75-77F) to sleep comfortably until after midnight due to the way the walls/roof of the house stored heat. I hope that the owner considers investing in a higher BTU AC unit or perhaps a second unit for the other bedroom (Few could sleep there without it), so on the hotter days, the guests can sleep comfortably. Had the place been far less expensive I might have understood the corner cutting on AC, but there were hotel options I would have considered if I'd known how hard it would be to sleep here."
