  • Christmas in the mountains!

"My husband and I spent Christmas Day in this cabin! Our daughter and her husband live in Boulder so they came up a lot and we all had the best Christmas ever! It was so warm and cozy in the cabin with a turkey roasting in the oven and watching the beautiful snow flakes out the large front window! We all went snow showeing at Moffat Tunnel about 6 miles from the cabin (great way to work up an appetite for a turkey dinner!) Drove down to Nederland several times for supplies and exploring. Great little town with the nicest people. We ate at the Wild Mountain Smokehouse and Brewery on Christmas Eve. Would (will) eat there again. Great prime rib, BBQ. and wings. Ilene has become a friend to us. I've never met her but, feel I know her. We will go again to see our daughter and enjoy this wonderful cabin!"

  • Perfect in every way...

"We just returned from spending Easter weekend with our son & daughter-in-law who recently moved to Boulder. This was the perfect rental - pictures on web site are exactly like it is. Location is ideal - easy walk to Pearl St yet situated in a quiet neighborhood. House is nicely equipped with supplies, some food items, some toiletries, etc. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults (4 of which actually stayed at the house, 2 live in Boulder) to cheer on the Wisconsin basketball team (yes, they beat Kentucky!) - nice, big TV and plenty of seating. The kitchen is great; wonderfully updated and had all the supplies we needed to cook up a light Easter brunch. Your spring has already 'sprung' more than ours in Wisconsin, so we loved seeing the flowers starting to bloom (snow covered on our first day - quick melt, though) We truly enjoyed our first visit to Boulder, but certainly not our last...thanks for sharing your lovely home. We hope to stay here again on future visits."

  • Wonderful Thanksgiving stay

"This house was excellent for our family of 8. We enjoyed the space, it accommodated our group very well. The kitchen was wonderful and we were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal. Lovely mountain views and ample parking. Steve was very responsive to a couple of minor issues we reported. We would definitely come again."

  • Beautiful retreat!

"This was the perfect retreat for my sisters and I! We are busy mama's and wives and only get one weekend per year with one another. We couldn't have asked for a more warm, welcoming and beautiful spot to relax. The owner has chickens on the property who roam free, which is so fun! There were fresh eggs awaiting us upon our arrival, among many other very personal and thoughtful touches. Would recommend this getaway spot to anyone who wants kick back and relax. We"d surely come back again!"
