  • Everything Described & More!

"The photos don't do to this wonderful mountain home justice. We were very happy with our choice to stay here and it was more than we ever expected. My husband and I travel to Colorado every summer and this is one of the most tranquil, beautiful and well cared for vacation homes we’ve found. The cabin sits on a little serene lake with a small stream, which has the most delightful melodic trickle…the best “sleep aid” ever!!! This home has numerous giant windows and a large wrap round deck so no matter where you are, inside or out, you always feel apart of nature’s beauty. No technology needed here – there’s so much to do! We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeder, the beavers (we think) hard at work in the lake, marshmallows around the fire-pit and the pool table. The cabins interior is well maintained and stocked with every comfort of home. The overall decor and furnishings are charming with a rustic-chic style. The bathrooms and kitchen are CLEAN, modern and have all the amenities needed for a perfect get away. The Red Feather Lakes area is an anglers delight! There are numerous lakes near the cabin stocked with jumbo trout so even unskilled and impatient people like me have a chance to catch a big one. The town itself is very quaint and charming, although, I would recommend if you like to cook and/or require a lot of fresh fruits and veggies to stop in Ft. Collins or any other larger town for supplies. The Red Feather Lakes local grocery stores are small with limited produce and items are costly. Pamela is a dream to work with! She is honest, helpful and was responsive to all our needs and questions. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful mountain home with us! The Young’s – Omaha NE"

  • Beautiful View & Quiet Getaway

"Bird's Nest cabin was a lovely getaway for 2. It was very quiet and peaceful, and the grounds around the cabin offer some great hiking. I would only suggest that the owners consider some kind of window coverings--I realize they kept the windows uncovered so it would let it lots of light and there aren't any neighbors to worry about. But at night with the lights on in the living room, the bugs really swarm around whatever light they find, and the window screens weren't enough to keep them out. It got a little crazy. Otherwise, the cabin was great and we really enjoyed it. Would totally go back again."

  • The best family vacation thus far!

"Absolutely beautiful home with even better views! We were welcomed by the deer, they visited each morning and most evenings. We saw the moose on the hillside two of the evenings. The home is very well kept and very well appointed. By far my favorite family vacation thus far, we will be back."

  • Sweet Retreat!

"The Creekside Cabin was a phenomenal location for our romantic New Year's getaway. We arrived after dark, so it was a bit of an adventure winding our way to the secluded site in the snow. The directions were excellent, however, and the GPS in our car worked well. Definitely suggest a 4WD this time of year. We awoke the first morning to two moose right outside the downstairs bedroom window. They hung around most of the day and we continued to see them from a distance throughout our time there. Also saw rabbits and what we think was a coyote. We spent most of our time by the fire, but went hiking every day. Plenty of snow, so we should have had snowshoes with us! Other have commented on the well-stocked kitchen. In the bathroom, there are also several hair dryers so no need to take one. Hot tub.... amazing! We were really pleased with the experience and highly recommend it!"
