"Cabin was in perfect location, about 20 minutes from downtown Estes Park and a private location next to roaring river on plenty of land to explore. Everybody enjoyed being able to hear the river at night to fall asleep to. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for our meals. We loved the sitting area off the kitchen to watch all the humming birds outside the window. Kids loved the ping pong table and movies and games downstairs. Saw deer and foxes while on the property. Owner was great and made a point to make sure he introduced himself. The cabin was perfect and we cannot wait to visit again."

"We, unfortunately, had to cancel our stay at this beautiful home, but not until past the drop-dead date for receiving a refund. Kurt and his family went above and beyond the call to try and replace our reservation and ultimately return a portion of our deposit (which we just received.) The customer service, integrity and honesty displayed by Kurt and his family were refreshing and ultimately left us with very warm feelings toward this property owner and manager. When presented with the opportunity to return to Boulder, we will call Kurt first!"

"Our family, including our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren from out of state and our daughter spent 3 nights at Whispering Pines this week. The house worked out perfectly for all of us and the location was great for going into downtown Estes Park and for heading into RMNP. My only negative was because we had a 3 year old with us and had to watch so she wouldn't head out the door on her own, the stairs to the front door are steep, but that was a minor problem. We would definitely stay there again!"

Access to Boulder creek bike path makes this house a good find
"The house is nicely renovated and very clean. 2 things to improve it would be : 1)to replace the trundle bed in the 3rd bedroom- it squeaks every time you move on it and my son was not able to get a good night's sleep 2) put a screen door in the middle bedroom - there is no access to fresh air in good weather aside from opening the unscreened but lovely French doors. We did see a raccoon so you would not want to leave the door open in that bedroom. Overall, we enjoyed staying here- especially accessing the bike path- but would love to see the improvements made to make it more comfortable."
