  • View from Balcony Breathtaking!! VERY RELAXING!! VERY QUITE AREA!!

"We had only planned to stay 3 nights, but after 24 hours we decided to extend our stay 2 more nights. (Lucky US the following 2 nights were available). Hosts were very welcoming - and provided lots of helpful hints of shops, eating places and current events in Estes Park, and worthwhile easy trails/views to hike in RMNP. Great bus system to Bear Lake in RMNP!! View from Bedroom Balcony and Welcome from Humingbirds were appreciated first thing in the a.m. and after long day adventures. Excellent View of Snow Capped Mtns End of June was breathtaking and listening to slight wind through Aspen & Evergreen Trees on Property - when we left AZ @107 dgrs. Dave's BBQ 5-Star to eat at on way to our Rental . Saw small herd of Elk (13 adults-6 calfs) cross road at 7 p.m. on main road to rental property. Condo sits up high, view is definitely worth the short 10 min. drive from EP which is on way to RMNP. Safeway in EP had Muffins, Fruit, Juice & Milk for breakfast. We will definitely return to this area and rental property. Thanks again for the spectacular time!!"

  • Perfect!

"We couldn't have asked for a better house for our family of four. The owners thought of absolutely all the details... fresh towels, bed linens, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, kitchen basics, etc.. The house was super clean and comfortable. I wish we had been there in the summer to take advantage of the cute front porch. The house is very centrally located and we could have walked to a lot if it wasn't so chilly. The owners were very helpful and gave us a list of nearby restaurants. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family."

  • Almost made up for the park being closed.

"Beautiful and comfortable. Driveway was less than ideal, but it was the perfect home for our week in Estes."

  • Clean, charming, well equipped.

"The Carriage House is enchanting. We stayed for 8 days in June and were delighted with our choice. This property is as described. We particularly liked the spacious deck and the small pretty garden. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed. The spiral staircase added charm. We enjoyed using the barbeque and dined at the large table on the deck several evenings. The master bed is large and high off the floor. We rigged the curtain across the skylight above the bed and slept very well. We didn't use the downstairs bedroom which has a slightly smaller bed. The washing machine and drier were great for us too. There is a small ironing board and an iron which are not mentioned in the property description. Suzanne provided informative email communication during the booking process and was attentive to our needs after our delayed arrival. The apartment is conveniently located for central Boulder and within easy walking distance of Boulder's excellent restaurants. The Boulder Creek path is a super pedestrian and cycle route. We enjoyed al fresco breakfast everyday at Spruce Confections about 200 yards away. We hope to stay again on our next visit."

Front Range Vacation Homes Are a Skier's Paradise

Front Range vacation homes located in St. Mary's Glacier are located right in the thick of a skier's paradise. The town is home to less than 500 permanent, year round residents, making the main economy of the town based on tourism. Many of the rental properties are cabins located at the base of mountains, not far from skiing lodges. The properties have lake views, mountain views, and some of them even have hot tubs indoors and outdoors for you to relax in after a long day of skiing. Not only can you ski when visiting St. Mary's Glacier but you can also hunt if that is one of your hobbies. Deer hunting is popular and wildlife viewing is fun if hunting is not for you. There are local wildlife refuges and state parks, like Kings Canyon National Park, that will peek your interest.
