  • Experience of a Lifetime

"What a beautiful place that has all the comforts of home but with the rustic feel of a mountain lodge. Tim met us at the gate and led the way up the mountain (4-wheel drive recommended) to his home. This experience was enjoyed by the family and the beginning of our adventure at 9000 feet. The lodge was full of history which Tim was happy to share. We also enjoyed the amenities on the property; fire pit, hiking, outdoor shooting range, and the many other happening around which you can only experience by taking some time out of your everyday life and reserving a few days away at this location. We enjoyed sharing time with Tim and side kick “Hankster the Prankster” – Tim’s dog. We will stay here again sometime in the future and recommend for anyone wishing to live/feel the real Colorado mountain experience."

  • A wonderful house

"We recently stayed at this wonderful house for a small family reunion and it turned out to be the perfect place for us. First of all, the house itself is gorgeous, and the four spacious bedrooms were just what we needed. Second, the location couldn't be better, convenient to the center of Estes Park but away from the busyness of the town, surrounded by beautiful trees and literally at the foot of a small mountain. With two baths, a large living room with comfortable sofas, and a fine kitchen and dining room, it had all that we needed for five nights in the beautiful Rockies."

  • Long weekend, great atmosphere, and very comfortable

"We stayed at the cabin 3 nights - they were great. Surrounded by trees, wood stove, blankets and equipped kitchen. It was everything we needed. The nearby town Nederland had great restaurants and ice cream parlor. We loved the area - great choice!"

  • Beautiful view, amazing house

"Three generations of our family gathered for a reunion at this amazing property the first week of August. The three adult couples had rooms with king-size beds, so they were happy. The six children, ages 3 to 14, were able to spread out downstairs where foosball, air hockey and basketball court were, so they were happy. Win-win. The kitchen is fully equipped with a huge freezer/refrigerator and plenty of pots, pans, tableware and glasses. We all spent most of the day Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park or at the "Y" at day camp and gathered at the house in the afternoon where the kids continued their play. Perhaps my favorite thing about our stay at the house was all twelve of us gathering every night for dinner sharing our day and enjoying each other. That was a special time each day. Julie, the owner is great to work with. It was a wonderful week."

Front Range Vacation Homes Are a Skier's Paradise

Front Range vacation homes located in St. Mary's Glacier are located right in the thick of a skier's paradise. The town is home to less than 500 permanent, year round residents, making the main economy of the town based on tourism. Many of the rental properties are cabins located at the base of mountains, not far from skiing lodges. The properties have lake views, mountain views, and some of them even have hot tubs indoors and outdoors for you to relax in after a long day of skiing. Not only can you ski when visiting St. Mary's Glacier but you can also hunt if that is one of your hobbies. Deer hunting is popular and wildlife viewing is fun if hunting is not for you. There are local wildlife refuges and state parks, like Kings Canyon National Park, that will peek your interest.
