  • Quiet, restful and charming.

"This is the first time we have rented from Lake Shore Marina Condos and it will definitely not be our last. Everything we could possibly need was right there. We have family in the area but it was nice to have our own little place to retreat to. Lori was so nice and has such a good sense of humor."

  • Nice clean place

"I stayed over Valentine's Day weekend. This condo is clean, updated. The bed has memory foam which made sleep so much better after long climbs at Mt. Bierdstadt & Grays/Torreys. All the appliances worked well & the condo is has ample utensils & cleaning supplies. The location is incredible as it is just a short walk to Saxon Mt. Road. The condo complex seemed safe & I enjoyed talking to neighbors. The condo owner was pleasant & provided all info needed for a comfortable weekend stay. I hope to use this condon in the near future & I highly recommend this condon---Gerardo"

  • Northridge Nest was just right for our family reunion in Estes Park this October!

"For our first VRBO rental we were so pleased with the Nest in Estes Park, Colorado. We had families from the East coast and the Northwest descend upon Colorado for a five day reunion in the town where many of us had spent happy years growing up. It was dark when we arrived and we had to warm the house up. Once we got all the thermostats working it was fairly cozy. We would suggest keeping an eye on the temperature during your stay so you stay warm. We were able to access the key and suggest returning it in to the holder in case you forget to take keys with you when you venture out to the park. We forgot and it saved us a couple of times! We had four family units and each group had just the perfect place to stay in the house. Our teen girls loved their aero beds, with extra blankets, in the garage where they had their own space and a heating unit that kept them comfortable. The rest of us spread out in the house. We fixed our own food during our stay and had a bit of a problem with a burner on the stove not working. We made do and enjoyed the counter space and table near the kitchen where we spent a good share of our time. The kitchen was fairly well stocked and had plently of pots & pans and casserole dishes to use. The refrigerator even had some items we purchased and wouldn't have if we had known. The fireplace was nice and we purchased wood and fire logs to use in it a number of evenings during our stay. The big screen TV was nice to view from the kitchen as well as the living room. The décor is very nice with birds and trees and nature tying the Nest theme together. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms seemed adequate. There was plenty of bedding and towels for everyone to use. A special treat was the elk herd that bedded down around the north side of the house each day. The bull was beautiful with his rack of antlers and there was even a little calf. The views were nice and one morning we took a walk around the neighborhood, a neighbor stopped by to say hi and asked where we lived. He said the owners were real nice folks. We will certainly consider staying in the Northridge Nest for future trips to Estes Park. Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

  • Very nice rental home!

"This house turned out to be great for our multi family vacation. It's a lot bigger inside than the pictures show. Big pullout couch was a nice surprise. It's in a secluded, quiet spot in the trees but still a 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown or the grocery store! A big highlight were the 2 bull elk that were eating and sparring/playing out in the front yard one morning! Also saw turkeys and a fox (and a bobcat but in a different part of estes park). Owners are so helpful and nice. Couldn't have asked for a better place."

Front Range Travel Tips

Colorado’s Front Range, a Great Vacation Destination

The "Front Range" is a colloquial term for the area located just east of the foothills of the Front Range. It covers the areas of Boulder, Black Hawk, Central City, Clear Creek County, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Longmont, Loveland and Nederland. Situated less than an hour’s drive from Denver and its major airport, you will find yourself in the foothills of the Front Range Mountains. Average temperatures here are in the mid-20s Fahrenheit in winter to the high-80s Fahrenheit in summer.

Getting around this beautiful area could not be easier. Good interstate and main highways make accessing each of the wonderful cities and towns simple and convenient. In fact, there are more scenic and historic drives within easy distance of our Front Range vacation homes than any other state in the country.

An Ideal Outdoor Experience for the Whole Family

For a vacation where outdoor activities and sight-seeing are high on your "to do" list, you will be delighted with a Front Range lodging. Wherever you choose as a base your vacation, you will find plenty to do and see. It is said that the Front Range inspired the words for "America the Beautiful" and once here, you will understand why. To see the panorama that inspired these words, take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. On the trip, you will pass by some of the oldest living things on earth--the bristlecone pines. Some of which are over 2,000 years old! Give the kids a taste of farm life by visiting a real working farm. Or visit the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands for 1.5 million acres of wilderness with activities like horse riding, hiking and biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter.

For less active day trips, there are a variety of wonderful drives. The Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway will not only provide glorious views, it is also one of the best places to catch sight of the local bighorn sheep. The historic Lariet Loop encompasses the stunning Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the town of Golden--famous for the Coors Brewery--and the sight of the grave of Wild Bill Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill. In Central City, the Victorian age opera house is worth a visit along with the historic Moffat Tunnel. A detour will take you to the ghost towns of Hesse and Apex.

The Majesty of the Mountains

If truly spectacular scenery is a must for your perfect destination, the obvious place to find view after amazing view is the Rocky Mountains. Winter here brings world-famous skiing and the fun continues throughout the year. Whether you want to ride a horse or a bike or just hike, there are an abundance of trails to explore, from easy to death-defying! Just imagine choosing one of our Front Range vacation rentals with the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop!

Pick a Vacation Home on the Front Range

The main reasons why vacationers choose our Front Range vacation homes are convenience, space and choice. We have a wide variety homes in whatever location best suits you, with as much space as you desire. Each home is equipped with everything needed to make the perfect vacation. Property owners are often available to assist with any last minute queries and recommendations. Whether you are a couple, family or large group of friends, there will be a perfect property for your needs. Whether you want a city base or a rural retreat, you will find an ideal home here. What better way to relax after an adventurous day than to return to a comfortable, well-equipped home!
