  • Wonderful weekend

"We booked the house for a family hiking weekend. 5 adults and 2 young children (4 and 7 years old). What a gorgeous home! The property is just secluded enough to feel like you're away from everything but close enough to the main road to get into Estes Park easily. Everything was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and everything worked fine. The owners live on the property in an RV. They're extremely friendly folks with lots of cool information about the area. (follow their bear advice, it'll save your car from being rummaged through). The kids had a blast feeding the horse and exploring the woods behind the house. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Perfect for Family Reunion

"Our family - eight 60 year old cousins - had a fabulous time for six days, five nights at this beautiful home in Boulder. We could not have been more pleased with the overall look and feel of the home (inside and out), the layout, the stunning views, and the quiet, peaceful nature of the location were second to none. The home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, which surprised us a bit because when we first looked at the online pictures we thought it was going to be "out in the country." Alas, once we walked into the house we were stunned to find ourselves looking out onto a glorious lake, beautiful hills, walking paths, gorgeous trees, etc. We took many walks out our backdoor and truly enjoyed being in a outdoor wonderland. What made the location nice was that we could easily go into downtown or access roads to the major attractions of this beautiful area. We cooked most every meal in and found the kitchen (as BBQ) to be very well supplied with fully functioning, up-to-date appliances. We could sit outside on the large, covered deck and feel very connected to the beautiful outdoor. All beds were very comfortable, rooms were quiet and well situated in the home. Stephano, the on-premises manager greeted us warmly upon arrival and answered all our questions perfectly. He was a great resource. He lived in a basement flat and was "invisible" throughout. Yet, we knew we could get in touch if something came up. We loved our experience and truly hope to come back. I strongly recommend."

  • Excellent choice in Estes Park!

"We loved Trail Ridge cabin! We were in Estes Park for our anniversary and the cabin had everything we needed. We spent most days hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park and the cabins close proximity to the park entrance was perfect. We enjoyed watching the deer and chipmunks all around the cabin and taking in the spectacular views. It was cozy and comfortable all week, especially when we had a rainy afternoon. We spent it watching movies on the excellent TV in the living room. Very clean and well appointed. We will definitely stay there again!"

  • AWESOME PLACE!

"This place was perfect! We had a group of 6 staying at the cabin (3 couples) and we had a blast. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and to make ourselves at home. It was very close to Estes Park and RMNP. Marilyn was very easy to work with and left very detailed instructions for everything. We were, however, expecting the house to be a little more secluded (based on the pictures). The house was only a few yards from 2 other neighbors and the access to the river was a little farther than we hoped. Other than that, everything was just as the pictures described. Hopefully next time we will can stay more than two nights! Thanks again, Marilyn!"

Front Range Travel Tips

Colorado’s Front Range, a Great Vacation Destination

The "Front Range" is a colloquial term for the area located just east of the foothills of the Front Range. It covers the areas of Boulder, Black Hawk, Central City, Clear Creek County, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Longmont, Loveland and Nederland. Situated less than an hour’s drive from Denver and its major airport, you will find yourself in the foothills of the Front Range Mountains. Average temperatures here are in the mid-20s Fahrenheit in winter to the high-80s Fahrenheit in summer.

Getting around this beautiful area could not be easier. Good interstate and main highways make accessing each of the wonderful cities and towns simple and convenient. In fact, there are more scenic and historic drives within easy distance of our Front Range vacation homes than any other state in the country.

An Ideal Outdoor Experience for the Whole Family

For a vacation where outdoor activities and sight-seeing are high on your "to do" list, you will be delighted with a Front Range lodging. Wherever you choose as a base your vacation, you will find plenty to do and see. It is said that the Front Range inspired the words for "America the Beautiful" and once here, you will understand why. To see the panorama that inspired these words, take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. On the trip, you will pass by some of the oldest living things on earth--the bristlecone pines. Some of which are over 2,000 years old! Give the kids a taste of farm life by visiting a real working farm. Or visit the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands for 1.5 million acres of wilderness with activities like horse riding, hiking and biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter.

For less active day trips, there are a variety of wonderful drives. The Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway will not only provide glorious views, it is also one of the best places to catch sight of the local bighorn sheep. The historic Lariet Loop encompasses the stunning Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the town of Golden--famous for the Coors Brewery--and the sight of the grave of Wild Bill Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill. In Central City, the Victorian age opera house is worth a visit along with the historic Moffat Tunnel. A detour will take you to the ghost towns of Hesse and Apex.

The Majesty of the Mountains

If truly spectacular scenery is a must for your perfect destination, the obvious place to find view after amazing view is the Rocky Mountains. Winter here brings world-famous skiing and the fun continues throughout the year. Whether you want to ride a horse or a bike or just hike, there are an abundance of trails to explore, from easy to death-defying! Just imagine choosing one of our Front Range vacation rentals with the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop!

Pick a Vacation Home on the Front Range

The main reasons why vacationers choose our Front Range vacation homes are convenience, space and choice. We have a wide variety homes in whatever location best suits you, with as much space as you desire. Each home is equipped with everything needed to make the perfect vacation. Property owners are often available to assist with any last minute queries and recommendations. Whether you are a couple, family or large group of friends, there will be a perfect property for your needs. Whether you want a city base or a rural retreat, you will find an ideal home here. What better way to relax after an adventurous day than to return to a comfortable, well-equipped home!
