"Great vacation home with plenty of amenities. We felt at home from the moment we walked in and dropped our bags. We've stayed at many differant vacation homes, but this home was over the top."

"The plan was to get the whole family together for a short vacation near the Rocky Mountains and to feel like we were home. This cabin suited us perfectly. The place was well maintained and check-in went smoothly. We had the 9-year-old grandson with us, and he enjoyed the games in the house and had all the adult "children" playing, too. Our visit in early November was nice, because it wasn't too crowded when we sat outside. It seemed like there could be lots of neighbors across the river in busier times in the other developments. We were happy to wake up and see elk and mule deer in the river, practically right in the back yard. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, too, as it was already pretty chilly. Jane recommended a restaurant for the whole gang for one night out that met all of our needs. It was a great experience for the whole family."

"This is our third autumn of staying in this home. As always the house was immaculate when we arrived. Irene was as helpful and as considerate as ever while we booked. Due to family commitments...weddings before and after our visit, we could not stay as long as usual. We expect to make up for that in future stays. We already are discussing our next visit. We have been coming to Estes for the Park, hiking and wildlife, for11 years and are so grateful we discovered this home. Every morning without leaving the property, we saw lots of deer, other mornings we had elk in the yard, as well as a very low key bobcat that just sat and looked around until it slowly walked away. The birding in the neighborhood is terrific. Because we were here during the terrible 2013 flood, I can attest how safe, dry, cozy, stable, and tight this home is. We'll be back."

"Very clean comfortable home/cabin in Roosevelt National Forest. Hiking trails in the mountains were within 10 minutes or closer. The locals and tourist were friendly, quiet and respectful. This remote cabin in the mountains was what we were looking to find and explore. We plan to return next year."
