  • Large house,many rooms...great for big families/large groups

"The location was very quiet and very nice...lots of people walking and biking, there was a trail nearby,we even saw deer right out the front window!! Main hwy/street close (but not too close) with plenty of stores and shops. The house was big...lots of rooms and bathrooms! Bedrooms/bathrooms were very basic , nothing fancy...could be updated and more homey (the master bedroom was awesome). Although the house was clean, it was not sparkling (which it should be for the price)...A/C vents dusty, counters sticky, fridge water filter not changed, some appliances old, towels were stained and not enough, as previous reviewer stated "dusty corners". Even with all this, my large family of 11 were all together in 1 house - which is what we wanted and we had a great time being together. I would recommend this property with caution to the perfectionists!"

  • Denise

"We loved staying at Water Dance for our family vacation! The location was very convenient to the town and Rocky Mointain National Park. We walked to town at least once every day, and went into the park numerous times. Sitting by the river was very relaxing. We also enjoyed the eating area outdoors. The hot tub was wonderful, and an added plus to this home! The home was very well stocked with everything you need to be able to cook and eat all of your meals there. They had plenty of towels, including beach towels for the hot tub. We really enjoyed the time there with our family, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again."

  • Classic Boulder Charm!

"My wife and I came to Boulder for a long weekend and to see music at the Fox Theatre and Red Rocks, so the Walnut Street Home was perfect for our stay. We lived in Boulder for over 10 years and rented numerous apartments and houses during our stay, and this upstairs apartment felt very much like one we would have rented while living in town. Amy & Erik have a great sense of style for the place, with a great layout, wonderful color scheme and even a claw foot tub! Though we didn't spend too much time at the apartment it felt so much like home that we certainly could have and will likely be back in the future for another stay!"

Front Range Travel Tips

Colorado’s Front Range, a Great Vacation Destination

The "Front Range" is a colloquial term for the area located just east of the foothills of the Front Range. It covers the areas of Boulder, Black Hawk, Central City, Clear Creek County, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Longmont, Loveland and Nederland. Situated less than an hour’s drive from Denver and its major airport, you will find yourself in the foothills of the Front Range Mountains. Average temperatures here are in the mid-20s Fahrenheit in winter to the high-80s Fahrenheit in summer.

Getting around this beautiful area could not be easier. Good interstate and main highways make accessing each of the wonderful cities and towns simple and convenient. In fact, there are more scenic and historic drives within easy distance of our Front Range vacation homes than any other state in the country.

An Ideal Outdoor Experience for the Whole Family

For a vacation where outdoor activities and sight-seeing are high on your "to do" list, you will be delighted with a Front Range lodging. Wherever you choose as a base your vacation, you will find plenty to do and see. It is said that the Front Range inspired the words for "America the Beautiful" and once here, you will understand why. To see the panorama that inspired these words, take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. On the trip, you will pass by some of the oldest living things on earth--the bristlecone pines. Some of which are over 2,000 years old! Give the kids a taste of farm life by visiting a real working farm. Or visit the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands for 1.5 million acres of wilderness with activities like horse riding, hiking and biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter.

For less active day trips, there are a variety of wonderful drives. The Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway will not only provide glorious views, it is also one of the best places to catch sight of the local bighorn sheep. The historic Lariet Loop encompasses the stunning Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the town of Golden--famous for the Coors Brewery--and the sight of the grave of Wild Bill Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill. In Central City, the Victorian age opera house is worth a visit along with the historic Moffat Tunnel. A detour will take you to the ghost towns of Hesse and Apex.

The Majesty of the Mountains

If truly spectacular scenery is a must for your perfect destination, the obvious place to find view after amazing view is the Rocky Mountains. Winter here brings world-famous skiing and the fun continues throughout the year. Whether you want to ride a horse or a bike or just hike, there are an abundance of trails to explore, from easy to death-defying! Just imagine choosing one of our Front Range vacation rentals with the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop!

Pick a Vacation Home on the Front Range

The main reasons why vacationers choose our Front Range vacation homes are convenience, space and choice. We have a wide variety homes in whatever location best suits you, with as much space as you desire. Each home is equipped with everything needed to make the perfect vacation. What better way to relax after an adventurous day than to return to a comfortable, well-equipped home!
