  • We Love to Cook!

"We chose Eagles Landing because it was large enough to accommodate a crowd, had beautiful views, and was near RMNP. The drive up the hill, thouigh, was a bit of a shock, especially the first time, and after arriving in one piece, we were not inclined to go back out, for the 15 minute drive into Town. As a result, we did mostly cook and eat in, the entire time we were there. If the House sleeps 10, there could be a couple of larger pots. A small food processor, like the B & D Handichopper, would be welcome. The coffee maker was adequate, but small. Instructions on making the televisions, with satellite channels, work, would be appreciated. On the whole, though, a great vacation. Memorable."

  • Managers retreat

"This was my most successful managers retreat to date - I've been doing this kind of thing for almost 10 years - the location of this property was absolutely perfect, away from distractions with fantastic scenery. Thank you so much!"

  • Perfect in every way...

"We just returned from spending Easter weekend with our son & daughter-in-law who recently moved to Boulder. This was the perfect rental - pictures on web site are exactly like it is. Location is ideal - easy walk to Pearl St yet situated in a quiet neighborhood. House is nicely equipped with supplies, some food items, some toiletries, etc. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults (4 of which actually stayed at the house, 2 live in Boulder) to cheer on the Wisconsin basketball team (yes, they beat Kentucky!) - nice, big TV and plenty of seating. The kitchen is great; wonderfully updated and had all the supplies we needed to cook up a light Easter brunch. Your spring has already 'sprung' more than ours in Wisconsin, so we loved seeing the flowers starting to bloom (snow covered on our first day - quick melt, though) We truly enjoyed our first visit to Boulder, but certainly not our last...thanks for sharing your lovely home. We hope to stay here again on future visits."

  • Our Estes Park home!

"Girls getaway. We felt instantly at home, relaxed and comfortable. Very peaceful and beautiful location. Detailed directions on how to utilize all the household amenities. We had a wonderful weekend and weren't ready to head back to our Kansas home."

Front Range Travel Tips

Colorado’s Front Range, a Great Vacation Destination

The "Front Range" is a colloquial term for the area located just east of the foothills of the Front Range. It covers the areas of Boulder, Black Hawk, Central City, Clear Creek County, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Longmont, Loveland and Nederland. Situated less than an hour’s drive from Denver and its major airport, you will find yourself in the foothills of the Front Range Mountains. Average temperatures here are in the mid-20s Fahrenheit in winter to the high-80s Fahrenheit in summer.

Getting around this beautiful area could not be easier. Good interstate and main highways make accessing each of the wonderful cities and towns simple and convenient. In fact, there are more scenic and historic drives within easy distance of our Front Range vacation homes than any other state in the country.

An Ideal Outdoor Experience for the Whole Family

For a vacation where outdoor activities and sight-seeing are high on your "to do" list, you will be delighted with a Front Range lodging. Wherever you choose as a base your vacation, you will find plenty to do and see. It is said that the Front Range inspired the words for "America the Beautiful" and once here, you will understand why. To see the panorama that inspired these words, take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. On the trip, you will pass by some of the oldest living things on earth--the bristlecone pines. Some of which are over 2,000 years old! Give the kids a taste of farm life by visiting a real working farm. Or visit the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands for 1.5 million acres of wilderness with activities like horse riding, hiking and biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter.

For less active day trips, there are a variety of wonderful drives. The Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway will not only provide glorious views, it is also one of the best places to catch sight of the local bighorn sheep. The historic Lariet Loop encompasses the stunning Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the town of Golden--famous for the Coors Brewery--and the sight of the grave of Wild Bill Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill. In Central City, the Victorian age opera house is worth a visit along with the historic Moffat Tunnel. A detour will take you to the ghost towns of Hesse and Apex.

The Majesty of the Mountains

If truly spectacular scenery is a must for your perfect destination, the obvious place to find view after amazing view is the Rocky Mountains. Winter here brings world-famous skiing and the fun continues throughout the year. Whether you want to ride a horse or a bike or just hike, there are an abundance of trails to explore, from easy to death-defying! Just imagine choosing one of our Front Range vacation rentals with the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop!

Pick a Vacation Home on the Front Range

The main reasons why vacationers choose our Front Range vacation homes are convenience, space and choice. We have a wide variety homes in whatever location best suits you, with as much space as you desire. Each home is equipped with everything needed to make the perfect vacation. Property owners are often available to assist with any last minute queries and recommendations. Whether you are a couple, family or large group of friends, there will be a perfect property for your needs. Whether you want a city base or a rural retreat, you will find an ideal home here. What better way to relax after an adventurous day than to return to a comfortable, well-equipped home!
