Perfect for family vacations!
"Three generations of our family spent the entire week together at this home in March, and it was perfect for our needs. The location of this home is perfect. Set in a quiet family neighborhood within walking distance to the excitement of Pearl Street, we did all of our traveling in town by foot. Another highlight of this rental is the enormous backyard, which offered a ton of space for lawn games and grilling out. Being that the weather was great, we spent much of our time in the back yard lounging around, playing bocce ball, and throwing the frizbee... the pictures don't even do this yard justice, it's HUGE! The beds were very comfortable and the large dining area was a great place for us all to gather and eat meals together.
As far as Boulder itself, what a great place for a family vacation. Many restaurants and bars within blocks and so many great places to hike and explore the mountains within 30 minutes.
This is a great rental for families and travelers looking to experience Boulder like they actual live in the community rather than just visiting."

"We had a great time, it was peaceful. Hiked up to St Mary's glacier and it was worth every ounce of sweat. Beautiful! Private pond for fishing and free fishing passes. Would recommend this cabin to anyone that wants to get away from the fast pace of life and just sit back and relax."

"The lovely Estes River Retreat was a fabulous home base for a week of day hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. Having a well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare picnics, and we all appreciated the large/luxurious bathroom for warm post-hiking showers! My teenagers were very pleased to each have their own room, as well as access to wireless and Netflix. We enjoyed being able to walk into town for dinner (or for breakfast doughnuts) and we also enjoyed being able to read outside on the deck or in the hammock. We would be delighted to stay at the Retreat again when we are lucky enough to return to Colorado."

"we would recommend this property to anyone! Has all the amenities you could want including washer and dryer so we could keep up with laundry during the week. We were two families of seven total and had plenty of room not even using the lower dorm room. If we had happened to have a rainy wash out day where we would needed to have stayed in there were games, books and movies as well as countless books and materials on wildlife and history and points of interest in the area. The property is very close to downtown Estes Park (can hop the shuttle if you don't want to drive) YMCA and Rocky Mountain National Park is almost in the backyard! Beautiful view of Longs Peak! The Big Thompson runs right across the street. Planning on a return visit in 2017!"
