  • All Round Great Condo! Clean, well appointed and excellent location (on shuttle and near market)

"We had a wonderful New Years stay at the Pitkin Condo! Its always difficult to tell from the VRBO pictures if a rental will be nice or a little tired - this was beautiful! It was nicely furnished with a renovated kitchen, new bathroom fixtures and one of the most comfortable couches I have every experienced. In addition, the location was ideal! It was a block away from both the shuttle stop and the local market (which is surprisingly important since there are no grocery stores nearby). I would highly recommend it! Thanks again for a great vacation!"

  • Great time by the lake

"This cabin was a lot of fun. Plenty of wildlife around including a moose outside the place our first morning. The cabin is very close to down town Grand Lake, we walked down and ate at the restaurants many times. Hiking Adams Falls and the porch swing at Grand Lake Lodge were both really close. Owners were very accommodating, and helpful. Big thumbs up for this unique cabin."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
