  • Best Vaca Home EVER!!!

"We stayed in Kris and Tom's beautiful mountain home last weekend to enjoy the fall colors. It was amazing in every way!!!! Decorated beautifuly, fully equipped kitchen with everything you can imagine to make a wonderful meal (even spices), the bedrooms were most comfortable and the hot tub was MARVELOUS!!!! We were sad that there were no moose sightings during our stay however, we did get to see a fox, bald eagle and HUGE black bear. I had some internet problems during our stay but text Tom and got a response right away and the problem was fixed within 5 mins!!! The only suggestion I have is to possibly get a fold up crib for little kids. We will most definitely be back!!!! I did not want to come home!!!!"

  • Great Winter Park Location

"We were impressed when we walked in. Very nice and comfortable with good views. We liked not being on the resort but close enough to drive or catch the shuttle. There was a binder with information on anything that there is to do in the area. Having the two living areas allowed the kids to be downstairs and us up."

  • Perfect ski in ski out condo at Winter Park

"Just returned from a lovely stay in the this unit. The owner is gracious and prompt in his email communications. The unit is very spacious, comfy and well equipped. There is more room than we anticipated and the unit couldnt be more convenient. You will have a great stay if you choose this property."

  • Ideal for an August vacation

"We stayed for a week in August rather than during ski season. The condo was very nice and well-equipped. The staff were courteous and helpful. The pool is large and heated to just the right temperature, so our four grandchildren were happy to spend hours in the pool. There are also three hot tubs, a game room with a ping pong table, and a very good tennis court, so, all-in-all staying there was like staying at a resort. We took one or two excursions each day to visit some of the many attractions around Steamboat, but the kids were always happy to return "home" and play tennis or jump in the pool."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
