  • Wonderful family retreat

"We loved this rental. We had four kids and having the second family room space was key. This rental is stocked with everything you could need. The owners obviously care about the home and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday ski vacation in large part because of the amenities."

  • Great multi-family experience

"We had 3 families. 12 people at the house over spring break 2015. Everything you see and read is acurate. The house is amazing. The kids were primarily 4th and 5th grade along with one infant. We had so much space to hang out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The house is very well maintained. If I had any complaint, it would be the side garage can be tricky, especially with full size SUV, but even still it was fine. And that the house is so large, you will get a workout up and down stairs. :) The house sits on the golf course so the views are amazing. We used the hill behind for sledding and the kids loved the fire pit and hot tub. From playng pool, watching a movie or playing cards, everyone loved it and can't wait to come back. If you have a big group/family, this is a great option. It was 10 minutes into Breck, 15 to Frisco, 25 to Keystone. It's a great location."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
