"I agree with almost everything Matt B. said, which is great as it saves me a lot of writing. The bottom line is, this is just about the best location possible in Aspen, right above the Grand Hyatt, only 2 small blocks to the lifts and the center of town. You know when you see a great price like this, there must be a reason, and that reason is the lack of daylight. I decided that since we would be out enjoying Aspen during the day anyway, it didn't matter that it wouldn't be sunny in the unit. A couple of things I will add: more than not having natural sunlight, you can barely see outside at all. The window in the bedroom is below ground and under an overhang, so you can see only a sliver of sky. The other window is the framed glass front door, and it's the same story there. The hallway to enter the unit is also very narrow. However, there are plenty of lights and all are dimmers which is nice. The shower was better lit and not as small as it appeared in the photos. Plenty of washcloths and lots of towels, plus there are towels provided at the hot tub/pool, which are lovely. Plenty of storage for clothing. We could still hear the people walking upstairs, but it didn't bother us too much. Overall, a very comfortable space for two people, and a great location at a good price."

"This was my first time using VRBO and won't be my last. I threw dozens of questions at the owner and he was nothing but patient and informative. The condo is in a great location, only a few minutes walk to the town center. Our family of four had more than enough room. Great place, thank you!"

"The Residence Hotel is a Fabulous boutique Hotel in the heart of Aspen, cozy and romantic all at once. If its a private getaway you booked the right place as its quiet but yet if your feeling the need to get out all you need to do is walk out your front door and your in the heart of all the action.I would recommend this place to Couples as well as families or larger groups."

Excellent 3 bedroom condo in the best part of town!
"We had a wonderful week at Pines Lodge, unit #415. We are a family of 3 with a 7-year old. The unit is on the ground level with a private entrance. We loved being able to come and go without having to go through a common area, it felt very private and more like a home than a hotel. The private covered patio is large with a jacuzzi, grill, dinging table and chairs. We enjoyed several meals and nights playing backgammon on the patio. The kitchen is spacious and in excellent condition, with everything you need to prepare meals at home. The bathrooms were well maintained or appear to have been recently remodeled. The bedrooms were small but more than adequate. Two rooms have windows looking out to the ally, which was a little noisy on trash day. Overall it is a quiet location, with very little street noise. We would definitely rent this unit again. If the upstairs unit 417 is available, I would suggest that instead because it has a big open patio with more natural light. Everything was better than expected."
