"Our stay at Chateau Roaring Fork was wonderful. It’s always nice to walk into a vacation rental and have that feeling of relief that you’re getting a nice unit. Everything was walking distance – from the grocery store to restaurants to the heart of town. Maroon Bells was as majestic as all the pictures and a very short drive away. If you want to drive all the way up to the trail head, you need to get there before 8AM, otherwise you need to take a bus. We hiked two different trails on two separate occasions (Crater Lake was more of an uphill hike and the Maroon Creek trail was very scenic with waterfalls and wildlife). The updated kitchen was very nice and although we never used them, included a washer and dryer. We took advantage of the grill on the patio and barbequed one evening. The pool was nice – the water was as warm as bath water. Overall great experience."

"We are a family of five coming to Aspen for the first time December 2014. This condo is situated one block from the Silver Queen Gondola of Aspen Mountain and one block from the town's grocery store. The unit was very clean, the kitchen is well stocked, it is quiet in this little neighborhood, and you are right in the middle of Aspen activities and sites. You do not need a car in Aspen, your lift ticket covers four mountains and the free shuttle system is excellent. We would not consider staying at another home or condo after experiencing the amenities and location of Ajax Mountain Condo. Responsive owners, they text back quickly, answer questions about keys and codes, you will not be disappointed."

"We just got back from my work trip / family vacation to Aspen and could not have been happier with our stay in this condo! The owner was responsive and wonderful in helping to answer all of our many questions, and she was very very welcoming! She even left us a bottle of wine to welcome us to Aspen! The kitchen is full stocked and we cooked most meals, which was relaxing and easy with two grocery stores nearby. The condo itself is clean, spacious, and everything you need for a family destination. Our kids LOVED the pool every day and the location was perfect for our needs with very easy access into central Aspen and beyond (public transport comes right outside every 20 minutes) without being right in the middle of busy and noisy downtown. I loved hiking Smugglers Mountain a few mornings before work (the trailhead is about a five minute walk away), and the Hunter Creek and Rio Grande Trails are only a couple of minutes away as well. The condo has everything you need for small children as well (pack n' play, high chair etc.), which was super helpful and eliminated a lot of our packing stress. We will be back and hope to stay here again! Thanks for a great stay!"

"This is a nice condo, walking distance to the Gondola and town with a great outdoor pool and hot tub area. We had some issues with the second bathroom and barking dogs next door and below us, but the management company handled our complaints quickly. If you're looking for luxury this is not for you, however this condo gets the job done at a reasonable price (for Aspen). We had a great vacation!"
