"The hotel I was originally booked increased my price when I was checking in, and was even rude : ( Therefore, not a pleasant experience, so needless to say, I was desperate for lodging at the very last minute.
Someone told me about Terry Butler, at The Residence Hotel, and called her immediately. She gave me her very last suite at an incredible special price when she realized I was on a starving artist budget. As I walked up the stairs to the charming hotel, I was greeted with welcome arms, as well as a beautiful serenade by the fluffy house dog, Charlie. When I walked into my room, I was breathless! I didn't get just a room, I got a huge suite! The deco is Old World eclectic, and done with perfection! I could easily move in permanently. There is a warm, inviting, shared living room- lobby, where everyone becomes part of her family. I highly recommend The Residence Hotel to everyone! AND, I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!"

"Chateau Aspen 10 was in an outstanding location with great amenities. I have oven envy. On our final night at the property we realised that there was a supermarket across the road - doh.
House keeping prior to our arrival was a bit lack lustre as we had only a single roll of partially used toilet paper for 5 people and a three night stay. There was also two cakes of used soap left in the shower and nothing to use to start the fire (but logs of wood). Toilet paper and fire lighters were supplied however upon request (the next day), disappointing though considering the price point. We also found a broken iPad wedged into the fold out sofa in the lounge room.
Unlike other apartment rentals during our stay - Chateau Aspen did have any panty items such as salt/pepper shakers etc.
All that being said we would stay here again."

"I agree with almost everything Matt B. said, which is great as it saves me a lot of writing. The bottom line is, this is just about the best location possible in Aspen, right above the Grand Hyatt, only 2 small blocks to the lifts and the center of town. You know when you see a great price like this, there must be a reason, and that reason is the lack of daylight. I decided that since we would be out enjoying Aspen during the day anyway, it didn't matter that it wouldn't be sunny in the unit. A couple of things I will add: more than not having natural sunlight, you can barely see outside at all. The window in the bedroom is below ground and under an overhang, so you can see only a sliver of sky. The other window is the framed glass front door, and it's the same story there. The hallway to enter the unit is also very narrow. However, there are plenty of lights and all are dimmers which is nice. The shower was better lit and not as small as it appeared in the photos. Plenty of washcloths and lots of towels, plus there are towels provided at the hot tub/pool, which are lovely. Plenty of storage for clothing. We could still hear the people walking upstairs, but it didn't bother us too much. Overall, a very comfortable space for two people, and a great location at a good price."

"The pre-coordination with Brian Harris was outstanding. He was very responsive to all of our questions and phone calls. Upon our arrival, the condo was just as advertised. The condo was super clean and inviting. Due to the close proximity to the mountain and downtown Aspen, everything was within walking distance and there was no need to rent a vehicle. The view facing the mountain was priceless. I would recommend traveling in late February or early March because of the unseasonably warm weather. Take advantage of the skiing and the Maroon Bells. I would stay at this condo again and recommend to anyone that wants to get away."
