  • Beauty and Convenience

"This is our favorite spot in the valley. The view over the river onto the mountains is beyond description - delightful with your morning cup of coffee or from the hot tub while unwinding apres ski. The house was spacious enough for ourselves, our son's family of 4, and another couple who joined us for a couple nights- we could cook out and spread out and still find privacy when needed. I like the easy driving to the grocery store, the frontage road access so getting onto Hwy 82 was without challenge, and the convenience to Snowmass, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs - all favorite venues. Best of all is relaxing and enjoying a wildlife visit to this property."

  • Excellent and affordable place close to Aspen ski areas

"We stayed in Linda's condo for a week of Masters racing in Buttermilk. The condo is nice, clean, and comfortable. Linda responded to every email very quickly. The place is conveniently located close to the highway, but far enough to avoid any traffic noise. We can highly recommend this place as an alternative to expensive lodging in Aspen, as it is less than 20 min drive to Snowmass, Buttermilk, Highlands, and Aspen."

"My husband and I, two daughters, their husbands and three young grandchildren spent a wonderful week at this home in Basalt. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, provided a very comfortable stay. We are all "foodies" so the large, well-stocked kitchen and outside grill was used every day. The owner supplied general kitchen needs so I didn't have to buy a whole bottle of cinnamon to make toast sprinkles one morning. She also supplied all needs during the week including bath tissue, shampoo, soap, etc. The kids loved playing in the park right across the street in this quiet neighborhood. We often had happy hour on the patio in the fenced back yard while the kids played in the sandbox and ran around. We loved the little town of Basalt-especially a farmers market and historic hike. We drove (or took the bus or rode our bikes) to Aspen several times and found it an easy trip. We felt we had the best of both worlds...upscale Aspen and quiet Basalt."

  • Feels Like You are In the Colorado Backcountry

"We have stayed in many Colorado rental properties over the last 45 years and this house may be the best we have stayed in. It is close to Aspen with all the towns attractions along with being only a short drive to many mountain areas. It's close to hwy 82 but it's surroundings are very quiet and you feel like you're in a home in the backcountry. Everything inside the unit is first class. Dan, the owner, was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to go in the area. There are both City Market and Whole Foods grocery stores 5 minutes away. We also enjoyed the 6 to 8 deer that wandered by the house each day. We will stay here again!"
