  • Wonderful Trip!

"Our group (three couples) had the pleasure of staying at "Point of View" for five days and had a wonderful time there! The home is nicely located and very quiet, yet not that far from town or the base of Beaver Creek when you are ready to get out for some fun. Our trip was over the summer and this gave us the opportunity to take full advantage of the wonderful outdoor deck and patio areas. We also enjoyed the hot tub and its outstanding views of the surrounding mountains. We found each bedroom to be very private, thus affording each couple some private/away time as needed. Common areas were open, well furnished and perfect for hanging out or cooking and enjoying a large meal. (The large kitchen dining table was perfect for a large group meal.) We also appreciated the sound system/stereo setup that allowed us to pipe music throughout the house. Plenty of garage storage for bikes/cars and a couple of washer/dryers for use. Honestly, this was a 10+ as far as lodging goes--great place and we hope to be back again some day! (Owner was very friendly/great to deal with as well.)"

  • Wedding Week with Friends and Family

"We rented this property for the entire week prior to my sons wedding and invited our family and good friends to join us. In a word, it was perfect. The photos don't do justice to how really beautiful and comfortable this home is. Fifteen guests in total stayed and there was plenty of room for everyone, including toddlers who had a great time. I will add that there are a lot of "extras" that you don't always find when renting a vacation home like high end bath products, an abundance of huge fluffy towels, plenty of outdoor seating, a Weber grill and the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a rental (I usually pack my own knives so am very picky). We hosted an event for 55 people out on the deck and the catering company was right at home in the huge work space. We felt like the owner of Elkview went the extra mile to ensure we had a memorable time. We are avid golfers and played the Beaver Creek Course (picturesque and fun), Red Sky Ranch (awesome golf course) and Eagle Vail Golf Course (fantastic fun public course close by). If you want to stay very close to the village in a home, this is the place to stay!"

  • Perfect Summer Vacation Spot

"Three families with members ranging in age from 54 to 15 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The townhome was just as pictured and described. The home was clean and well maintained. The greatroom/dining area were well appointed, comfortable and provided plenty of seating area for our gang of 12. The kitchen was stocked with all that we needed to prepare meals for dining in or for slapping together sandwiches for our hikes. We had as many as 4-5 people working comfortably in the kitchen at one time. The grill was an added bonus for warm summer evening cooking. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and the bedding/linens were adequate. The Arrowhead area was well maintained and secure with gated entry. The location was perfect for reaching many trailheads in and around Beavercreek/Vail area. With a hot tub only a couple of townhomes away, our sore muscles were well tended after long trail days. The towns of Edwards and Avon are very close as well as the village of Beaver Creek. The owner, Peggy, gives a great list of local restaurants/shops/groceries/bars/things in and around the area to make things easier. It was said several time throughout our vacation that we would definitely stay here again. It was a great time. We can even vouch for the ER at the Vail Valley Medical Center! Quick, professional, thorough."

  • One of the best large ski houses in the U.S.

"Our group of seven families has been taking a week-long ski trip for 19 straight years, and this was easily the finest large house we have stayed in. There are fewer than 20 ski houses of comparable size and quality listed on HomeAway and VRBO in the western U.S., and every year, we pick among them. This house easily had enough space for our big group. Most importantly, the kids could entertain themselves at all hours in the play room (pool, foosball, air hockey), fabulous movie theater, grotto, hot tub, and sled hill, while at the same time, adults had room to prepare meals and watch after the young kids. The quality of design, furniture, and construction is appropriate for a $10 million house. Note that the location along the Arrowhead ski run is far away (16 minute drive) from Beaver Creek Village. One can ski to/from there, but it's inconvenient for kids in ski school. That said, Arrowhead is a perfect green/blue run for beginners and intermediates - wide open, perfectly groomed, and safe for slow and fast speeds. Our kids (aged 6-9) spent entire days on this and the Bachelor Gulf lifts; you won't find better beginner runs at BC or any other mountain. Do take advantage of the property managers, who can help arrange discount lift tickets, in-house ski rentals (from Black Tie, who are great), restaurant reservations, shuttles, etc. We highly recommend this property."
