"The home was clean and well-appointed. There was more than enough space for our family. It is in a quiet area, surrounded by beautiful wild flowers, soaring pine trees, and gorgeous mountain views. We loved sitting on the deck and breathing in the fresh mountain air. We truly enjoyed our visit!"Guest: Jennifer W. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 25, 2014View listing
"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I enjoyed a very nice stay at Baldy Bear cabin in the summer of 2014. The house backs to the woods and you feel pretty secluded while being just 10 minutes away from Breckenridge attractions. There is a hiking / mountain biking trailhead nearby, also you can hike into the woods right from the cabin. There is a creek running through the property that you cannot see, but you can hear, and it creates amazingly peaceful and relaxing atmosphere when you relax on the deck. If you take a walk up the neighboring street you will enjoy breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. Jacuzzi under the night skies was amazing! The house is equipped with all sort of small things that you cannot bring with you, but they make your stay comfortable. We only have few minor suggestions to the owners / property management: to sharpen the knives, to supply the washer detergent (at least for one load), and to leave one-two kitchen cabinet(s) empty, so the renters have enough room to put their stuff away. We traveled with two kids, 12 years old and 20 month old, and a friend. Our 12 year old son slept in the loft, while his little sister occupied the sofa in our second floor bedroom. Our friend took downstairs bedroom. The cabin is suitable for families with young children, except for the straight staircase with gaps between the steps. Having baby gates in the cabin would significantly help parents to create safe environment for their babies / toddlers. Overall we had a very good experience and could recommend this cabin for companies up to 6-7 people with or without kids."Guest: A guest from Overland Park, KS Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 12, 2014View listing
"The owners were timely and efficient in providing the basic information (directions, house information) and we really appreciated their helpful suggestions regarding activities, eating places, etc. The house had all we needed and everything was clean and good working condition. The house's three levels provided a slight energy challenge because of our adjustment to higher elevation, but it also gave each of us privacy when needed. The location was ideal - quietly tucked among trees with easy access to a trail head, but not too far from town. We would definitely recommend this to anyone and hopefully will return - but for a longer time-frame. **NOTE: You are at > 10,000 feet. Remember to follow the "high altitude" directions when baking brownies.... :-)"Guest: Island Girl Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 28, 2014View listing
"We were a large group of 13 adults and 4 toddlers. This place was exactly what we hoped for. Plenty of space and bedroom options. The Master and Queen rooms are huge and luxurious. The living space was great for everyone to hang out. Lastly, Teri who is the property manager was awesome. Very helpful leading up and during the stay. She even had a recommendation for child care on the mountain."Guest: Bernard and Gertrude P. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 11, 2014View listing
