  • Awesome first time family ski trip

"The house was perfect for our family. We had 5 adults and 4 children 10 and under. This was the youngsters first experience in the snow and they were not disappointed. The house seemed a little far from town at first, but once we arrived, we knew we had chosen the right place. The views were wonderful. The drive is actually less than 10 minutes and you come out almost directly at Peak 9. We never felt cramped in the house and everything was as described when we booked. The driveway to the house was a little steep but it was plowed before we awoke each morning. The kids enjoyed the driveway to sled and ski down as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The owners were helpful and were always just a phone call away when we had questions. I highly recommend for family's that want a great experience. The house was also in the perfect location for watching the fireworks on New Years Eve from the living room window. The only complaint was that the garage was not built for our vehicles so we had to park in the driveway each time. Garage is made for cars, not large SUV's and trucks."

  • Wonderful Home

"My family went out to Colorado to visit my sister and her family who moved to Denver in the fall. We were looking forward to catching up and having lots of winter adventures. This house was the perfect place to do so. It's even nicer than the pictures and had the perfect layout. My mom enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs bedroom/bathroom, and we were able to fit three kids and two couples in the upper bedrooms. The open layout of the living room/kitchen/dining room is also great. It was also wonderful to have the bus stop right across the street. We used it for all our activities save snow shoeing, and it make the trip a lot easier, especially with the kids. While I had no problems at all about the house, I would like to add a personal story. We had been recommended to stay a night in Denver before we came up the mountain (We're from New York). We were anxious to start our fun and ignored that advice. We arrived at the house at 3pm, and by 8pm, my husband and I were in the ER with altitude sickness. My three year old got sick the next day, and we had to use oxygen compressors the entire week. We felt better after day 2 and were able to enjoy all the wonderful things of Breckenridge, but it was a really terrible start to a trip. I highly recommend that people research altitude sickness before they come (the house is even higher than the town), and take care. Dr. Gray is an emergency care doctor that will take calls and house calls and was extremely helpful when we were taking care of my daughter. He said he would also be happy to help people prepare before they come. I strongly recommend giving him a call. https://plus.google.com/103196585261912010113/about?gl=us&hl=en"

  • Great Mountain Home with Spectacular Views

"We had a group of 15 stay at this house for a wedding within walking distance. The owner was super easy to work with and responded to all my questions quickly and was very flexible and reasonable. For example, there was not any guests checking out the day or our arrival or checking in the day of our departure so he was more than happy to allow was to check in early and check out late. More importantly though, I felt like I was dealing with a legitimate and reputable person that was not going to rip me off. Upon our arrival, the house was very clean and orderly and we were surprised and delighted at the amount of space and especially happy with the views the house provided. Our group trickled in at different times and we ended up having 5 vehicles with enough parking space for all of them. The hot tub, free wi-fi, cable tv, garage space, and pool table were all nice amenities that we enjoyed. Our group was split with 3/4 or the people being couples and every couple got their own room and the rest being single and taking the bunk bed room and pullouts; no one was disappointed or uncomfortable with their sleeping situation. There was also plenty of bathroom space for everyone. Checking out was simple and the owners wishes were easily laid out for us to follow. Overall, we as a group were more than pleased with our stay, thought the cost was more than reasonable, and would stay here again."
