"We absolutely loved our stay at Bella Monte. The house is beautiful and filled with everything that you could possibly need. The view is amazing! We never tired of sitting on the deck and looking at the mountains. We enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen, as well as dining at several great restaurants in the village, and the Traverse in the lodge next door. What a great vacation! Highly recommend Bella Monte!!"

"This rental was exactly what we had hoped for. The house was on a mountain top and it was clean, very spacious and nicely decorated. The drive from main street/ downtown to the house was about 10 minutes but you got used to the drive so it was no big deal. The scenery up on the mountain was very relaxing and you don't hear any traffic noise. The kids even saw a fox on the way up which was way cool! The driveway steeps downward toward the home so make sure you have a 4 wheel drive. We always entered and exited the house from garage/ driveway and this was convenient.
The beds were all very comfortable and bathrooms were all spacious. We had a family of 3 sleep upstairs and they were able to have privacy all to themselves. The basement was like our babysitter - we had all the kids play down there. They had toys, tv, and pool table to keep them entertained. The basement temp was a bit too warm at night so we kept the thermostat at around 65. We're from Texas so the dry air was a bit of a challenge at first but we got used to it.
We were able to eat in (breakfast and dinner) most of the time which was great since we had picky little eaters. The refrigerator was big, clean and empty (except for a few condiments) - big plus for a mom like me! It was very convenient to cook, serve and eat all in the same area with lots of room for everyone.
It was nice to relax in a clean, private hot tub surrounded by nothing but snow and trees after a day of skiing. We really enjoyed the bright stars at night. The little kids loved it too but afterwards we had to carry them back to the patio door. They didn't want to walk (all about 10 steps) back in the snowy path bc they were cold. It finally snowed on our last day and it was very scenic as we watched the kids build a snowman in the backyard. It was a memorable vacation. Thank you, Greg. :-)"

"We had a great stay, this house worked out great for us. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom and we were 3 families staying there so it was fantastic. We cooked most meals there and the kitchen was well equipped which we appreciated. It was a very clean house, and the views were spectacular. Could not have asked for a better summer vacation spot. Loved it!!!"
