Great Location - Owner really cares about your stay
"Wonderful home on quiet pine forest street very close to Peak 8 base. We had a family of six and we were very comfortable, could have pushed that comfortably to 9-10. Easily parked 3 cars (2 in, 1 in the driveway) and plenty of room to store mountain bikes. Plenty of bedroom and bed options and best of all, a very large family room to gather every night. Kitchen was first rate and all pots, pans, utensils easy to find. Pet friendly which was a real nice option for us. Nice deck on the back with large hot tub and gas grill. Location was awesome.......four minute walk to Peak 8 Adventure park that includes alpine slide, zip lines, miniature golf, climbing wall, a great downhill rollercoaster (my personal favorite), and a great large outdoor deck for enjoying the sunshine and grabbing a bite to eat and drink. Four minute drive into town. Owner (Paul) really wants to know that you enjoyed your time. He provided great insight on the town of Breckenridge.....great restaurants, gondola location, parking locations, and best of all Paul gave us great local tips about where to watch fireworks on the 4th. Great stay, great owner who cares."

"We had 3 families with kids who had an alignment of Spring Break and wanted to ski. The abilities ranged from beginners to advanced. This rental was perfect. The location near the 4 O'Clock run allowed the advanced folks to get right up Peak 8 and then get to any mountain/terrain. Getting beginners to Peak 9 base was less than a 5 minute drive. Getting to town was so easy and fast that we were able to get 10 people there easily with just one vehicle in two very short (< 4 minute) trips. This allowed our out of town guests avoid rental cars and leverage the Mountain Express shuttles. In reality, walking to town would be feasible as well.. in our case, some ski injuries made the short drive a better alternative. The key is you can manage either way.
Location was a key reason we picked 'Our Mountain Honey" - but the amenities were important as well and we were not disappointed. The hot tub was used every night, the multiple large screen T.V.s and locations accommodated youngsters playing video games while adults watched the NCAA Final Four in completely separate locations, multiple (3) fireplaces are available - including old fashioned wood and gas. We took great advantage of the upper deck with its great view of the Snowflake Lift through the trees, the stream and open area behind the house, and the grill for cooking. This house has plenty of space to allow the entire group to be together to eat, converse or play games AND plenty of nooks to allow someone to get away for a bit. (I watched day 2 of the Masters in a private little area on the upper floor above the Master. Great view of the mountain but a chance to just relax.) This is a great place. The owner is very kind and also is clearly interested that her guests feel welcomed. Almost forgot - two areas to do laundry - don't pack too much stuff!"

"I am not a skier so hanging out at Bristlecone was all I needed for a fabulous week in Breckenridge! I loved all the windows and therefore the gorgeous view of the mountains and quaint town. My family and I were lucky enough to experience the first snow of the season as we sat around the outside fireplace and observed some of the mountain wildlife. I loved the large common area and kitchen since eating family dinners is always a favorite time for us while on vacation. Thank you Carol for stocking up our refrigerator so we had some groceries waiting for us when we arrived! The only sad experience with Bristlecone was that it was already booked on our last trip to Breckenridge so we had to stay elsewhere. Bristlecone is always our first choice!"

"Our family stayed for labor day weekend. This house has all the amenities and room for a large group.
Tyler and Robert were very easy to work with. I can not begin to describe how incredible this home is.
If you are looking in Breckenridge this home is a MUST stay."
