  • Great Condo

"My family and I just returned from our stay at this condo over the Christmas/New Year's holiday. It was wonderful! The pictures of the condo are deceiving in that it is a lot bigger than the pictures make it out to be! We had 10 people in this condo (my husband and myself, my sister and brother-in-law, my two adult children and my daughter's fiancé, and my sister's children ranging in age from 10 to 16). We had PLENTY of room for all of us to spread out! It was fully equipped with linens, condiments, etc. The fireplace was comfy and cozy. We were close to everything we needed; grocery store, ski rentals, lift tickets, and the Snowflake lift. In the morning we would walk downstairs, strap on our skis, ski down to the end of the run, walk across the street to the lift and take off. There were never any lines on this lift and we were there at the busiest time of the year. At the end of the day we would ski right back to the condo on 4 O'clock run. Molly was GREAT to work with and we didn't have any trouble with any of our needs. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone...just not over the Christmas holidays (we want it then)!!!"

  • Great Place for Summer Vacation!

"We came to Breck for 2 weeks in August to escape the miserable heat in the south where we live. There are lots of condos to choose from but we were looking for a condo located relatively close to town with a balcony, a view, and a fully equipped kitchen. This Four O'Clock Lodge condo ticked all those boxes and more for us. We weren't planning on having a car so it's nearness to town and being right on the bus line was perfect. We walked into town or rode the free bus wherever we wanted to go and never missed having a car. And the balcony and beautiful view of the mountains were great for reading or enjoying a relaxing lunch. Since we do most of our own cooking, we were glad to see that we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We were very comfortable in this condo and felt right at home. It has a "lived-in" feel--not in a bad way--like it has been used and enjoyed by the owners. This means that a few things could be updated or improved. But your enjoyment of the condo isn't affected by this. The condo is very clean and the furniture and bed were all very comfortable. The front of the condo faces the street and there is lots of great light from all the windows and the sliding glass doors. This is where the living area of the condo including the kitchen is located. The lower bathroom and master bedroom are located in the back of the condo. The master has two windows but is a little darker, perfect for sleeping. In the summer, you can sleep with the windows open and hear the creek flowing just beyond the complex--how relaxing is that?! There is also a loft area which is accessed from the living room which houses another full bathroom and several beds. Since there are only 2 of us we didn't use this area too much although having an extra bathroom can come in handy. I dealt with Jim, the owner, through emails and he was always very responsive and helpful with information. We fell in love with Breck while we were here and fell in love with this condo. We hope to be able to return in the future. Maybe next time we'll come for the winter."

  • TRUE ski-in ski-out

"OK. This one is a "he said", "she said" review. You would really want no more than 6 adults OR 4 adults plus 5 kids (sharing a room with a queen and bunk w/trundle) staying here. There is a pull-out sofa too; but that would just be too many people for this place. THIS LOCATION IS INCREDIBLE! The BEST location for a true ski-in ski-out vacation in Breckenridge. Close enough to town to take a little stroll if you want. Literally steps to the Snowflake Lift, and steps to Blue Sky (ski rental, lift tickets and a spa!) This is no joke. SERIOUSLY, CRAZY GOOD LOCATION IN BRECKENRIDGE. HE SAID: Great place with really cool stuffed animal heads hanging from the walls. Antlers everywhere. Big leather furniture and a huge flat screen TV. They have two hot tubs on the property (one in, one out) with a steam room and sauna for the tired bones after skiing. The kitchen has everything you need to make breakfast-lunch-dinner. Ski lockers were secure and convenient. View wasn't great, but once you open the blinds the light shines in. SHE SAID: Location is fantastic! The cleanliness was below my expectation, though. (maybe not a reflection of the owner, rather the service used). The decor was a little over the top. Great for a mountain hunting lodge. Kitchen was small, but very functional. Maybe if my husband would have gone out for dinner more...just saying. I wish the view was a little better, courtyard view with only a sliver of the mountain to see. Heated parking was great. Both said: John (the owner) was very attentive to any odd-ball questions we had during our stay. Great guy. We had a super vacation and would consider staying here again for two reasons: 1. AWESOME LOCATION FOR SKIING AND PROXIMITY TO BRECKENRIDGE. 2. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. John knows what he has in this property, and it was a pleasure to be a guest in his condo. Thanks, John!"

  • Great location with plenty of space

"Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) stayed here quite comfortably. Also, it is within walking distance of just about everything. Everything was as the owner promised. We will definitely stay here again!"
